Spiderman's Sister

In Peter's apartment, Aunt May lays dead on the floor, and the man is holding a gun to Peter's sister, Maddie's chest. Maddie is leaning against the counter next to Aunt May for support, barely being able to stand, bruised and beaten, tear stains down her cheek, but no longer crying. Captain America, Spider-Man, and Iron Man, slowly and quietly come inside not know what to expect.  the second Peter sees Maddie he goes to run towards her but Steve holds him back.

Man: Tell me where Spider-Man is!
Maddie: If you weren't so slow, you might know
Man: I swear, what the hell? Answer my question and stop talking or I'll shoot!

Tony shoots a laser straight into the man's back. The man collapses and Maddie lets out a breath. She tries to stand up all he way and get to Peter, but she can't. She ends up falling and Peter catches her. sitting on the ground with her across his lap, holding her head. He looks at Aunt May and tears begin to roll down his cheeks. Maddie is crying and she begins to speak but her voice is weak and raspy.

Maddie: Aunt May, I couldn't, I tried, I couldn't stop him. I'm sorry. Its all my fault.
Peter(turns her head so she is looking him in the eyes): It's not your fault, you couldn't do anything. I'm just happy you called me. But Why'd you hang up?
Maddie: I didn't, my phone died

After a minute of no one talking, just Maddie and Peter crying, Maddie picks her head up from Peter's shoulder and looks at him.

Maddie: Whats going to happen now?
Peter: I don't know
Maddie: Were orphans again.

Peter pulls her in tight and holds onto her taking one more look at Aunt May. Before burying his face in Maddie's back. Tony and Steve begin to whisper to each other.

Steve: This is the saddest thing I have ever seen,.
Tony: I know, should we let them stay here for a little while longer, or should we take them back to the tower?
Steve: I don't know. I can't believe he never told us he had a sister.
Tony: I just don't get why he wouldn't tell us. or at least me. Speaking of his sister, she just survived a shooting, and doesn't look like she's in very good shape, and looks like she might pass-out if she stands up.
Steve(gently to Peter and Maddie): Hey guys, I think we should get out of here. Peter you're sister looks like she needs a doctor, I'll stay until the police get here, Happy is downstairs, Tony will go with you to the tower.
Peter: He's right

Peter places Maddie down on the ground and stands up wiping tears from his eye.

Peter: Do you think you can walk?
Maddie: Yeah

She goes to stand up, but sits down quickly.

Peter: Are you okay?
Maddie: Yes, just a little dizzy.
Peter: Here I'll carry you to the car.

Peter picks up Maddie, and walks out of the apartment carrying Maddie, With Tony leading the way keeping one hand on Peter's back.
