After the ceremony, everyone went to the cemetery for the burial service and then the guests went their own separate ways. Happy ended up also coming to the ceremony, so he drove Maddie, Peter, Tony, and Pepper back to the tower. Maddie fell asleep in the car so Tony carried her inside and up to her bed. After a couple of hours Maddie wakes up. She looks at the clock. It's 4:30. She gets up and changes out of her dress into jeans and a t-shirt. She goes to the kitchen. Tony is there.
"Hi" Tony says.
"Hey" Maddie responds.
"So I was thinking," Tony starts and Maddie sits down at the island, he sits across from her. "If you going back to practice, you'll need your gear so you have to go back to your apartment. I mean you also probably want your stuff, so I was thinking after dinner, you, Peter, Pepper and I could go to get yours and Peter's stuff. A few other people could also come to help pack if you and Peter want." Tony finishes.
"That sounds good." Maddie says.
"Do you want to go back down to the lab and work on the frame?"
"Yes" Maddie smiles.
They go down to the lab, Maddie goes over to the frame and Tony goes to work on his suit.
"If you need help or anything, just let me know. Also if your up to it and want to polish it, the polish is in the top draw to left, but you don't have too if you don't want too."
"Thanks." Maddie says.
They both get to work, about 15 minutes in, Tony hears Maddie say "Oww" quietly. He turns around to see her shaking her hand.
"What happened?" Tony asks.
"Oh, nothing I just pricked my finger on the wood." Maddie responds. Tony walks over.
"Let me see it" Tony says calmly. Maddie holds up her hand, her finger is bleeding. Tony gets a band-aid from one of the draws and puts it on her finger. Maddie makes a confused face at him.
"So wood dust doesn't get in it."
"Ohh. That makes sense." Tony smirks and looks at the frame. It is almost done, only one corner still needs to be polished.
"That's really good. I still don't know how you did it." Now it's Maddie's turn to smirk.
"I don't know either. At least there's something I'm good at."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Tony asks. "I've seen you hit, and heard you sing. You literally do the impossible."
"See the problem though is that the basic things, that everyone can do I'm bad at." Maddie states.
"I'm sure that's not true, but maybe I could help you work on some stuff that you have trouble doing."
"I can't ask you to do that." Maddie responds
"You not asking I'm offering."
"Sounds good then."
"Good" Tony smirks.
"Good" Maddie smirks back.

Maddie finished the frame, then watches Tony work on his suit, until Pepper comes to get them for dinner. Everyone finished dinner, and it is decided that Pepper, Tony, Peter, Maddie, Clint, Natasha, Bruce, and a Steve would go help pack up the Parker's apartment.
