Let Go

Chapter 10

You bolt through the bedroom's door and run after Jimin. You see him turn to the corner, leading to the living room and call for him, "Jimin wait!" Your cry was loud enough for everyone in the house to hear, getting them all on their feet and running to where the sound came from.

Jungkook is quick to run beside you and engulf you in a hug as he sees your state. However, you're too occupied with the situation that you don't think twice and get away from his grasp, leaving him pained from the action.

You chase after Jimin and call after him once more, "Jimin please!" A hand grabs your wrist and your body is pulled backwards to meet Jungkook's saddened and worried eyes, "Y/N, what's wrong?" The only word you can utter is "JImin," causing the concerned expression his face held to shift to a pained and confused one.

"Jimin! What the hell is this all about?" Yoongi's voice startles everyone in the room. He grabs Jimin's arm to stop him from walking out the door. Slowly, Jimin lets go of the knob and turns to face everyone but he keeps his head down and just focuses on the floor.

Though confused and somewhat pained, Jungkook loses his grip on your wrist and instead pulls your body closer to him and placing a hand on your waist to rub small circles on them.

"Jimin?" Taehyung calls to his friend.

His eyes meet yours, asking for your permission, and you merely nod.

"It will be okay, Y/N," Yoongi comforts you as you lean on him. He rubs your back gently, letting you cry on his chest.

After Jimin explained everything, Hoseok and Taehyung left with him to help him get his mind off of things, Namjoon and Jin accompanied Jungkook to the dorms to talk to him as well, and Yoongi stayed with you.

"Everyone's just overwhelmed, and you have to understand those two. It's not just your relationship with them that's on the line, it's theirs as well." Yoongi's words make you groan and nuzzle your head further into his chest, "I know, and that's why I'm feeling a hundred times shittier now. How could I be so stupid? I didn't think this would happen," you cry.

"Hey, you can't control your feelings. It's not your fault that Jimin hurt you, and it's not your fault that Jungkook made you feel secure again. You were broken, Y/N. He was just there to help you get your pieces back together again."

Knowing Yoongi was right, you decide to stay quiet despite still feeling guilty about the entire situation. It's true, what he said, you can't control your feelings but this never meant that you couldn't control the situation. You mentally slap yourself because you knew you what you were getting yourself into, and you knew the consequences yet you chose to let on with it, not even considering the people that may get hurt in the way.

"Just let it out, Y/N. I'm here," and that's what you do until you fall asleep in his arms.

"Is she okay?" a trembling voice wakes you up from your nap. "Of course, she's not. You fucking tried to walk out on her after finding out that she's in a relationship with Kook. You said stuff she didn't want to hear," you feel Yoongi tighten his arm around you in a protective manner as he speaks to Jimin. You keep your head nuzzled in his chest as you listen to their conversation.

"You can't put the blame on her, Jimin. You were young," Taehyung speaks. "She probably felt lonely and rejected at that time. Maybe she just wished you two were like the other couples she'd see in school, or café's, anywhere. I'm not saying it's your fault either. We just debuted, and we were under Big Hit's conditions. I'm sure she understood you, but it's inevitable to feel the way she did. Everyone gets tired."

"I know. I was just shocked, and I was a dick for hurting her. I still am," he sniffles.

Your chest tightens as you hear him cry. You never liked it when Jimin cries, it always broke your heart.

"Where's Jungkook? I have to apologize to him," he speaks again.

"Jin hyung just texted me. They're on their way back here," Hoseok replies.

"Jimin?" it's Taehyung.

"Yeah?"

"Do you still love her?"
