Oh Baby!

Monse sat up in her bed as ruby sat next to her,
Cesar rushed to her house, entering through her window
"What HAPPENED?" He asks seeing Monses red eyes
Monse looks at Ruby, as she grabs his arm "I'll do it" she says softly
Ruby nods as he moves off the bed to let Cesar sit next to her
"Monse tell me what happened!" Cesar repeats
Monse stood up from her bed, walking over to her desk where the pregnancy test sat, she picked it up and sat back down
"What is that?" Cesar questioned as Monse handed It to him
"Cesar....I'm..pregnant" she said, looking down at her hands
Cesar stood still, in complete shock as he concentrated on the pregnancy test that read positive
"Cesar....? Say something" Monse begged
"A-are you sure?.." he replied
"Cesar im positive....I took the test, I've been puking these past few days, I haven't had a period, ....if that's not pregnancy than I don't know what is." Monse cried out
Cesar put his arms around her in support, he hugged her as tight as he could "it's going to be ok" he said
Monse dug her head into his shoulder "everyone keeps saying that but, is it? My dad...school...."
Cesar looked at her as she started to cry again "don't worry about any of that now, I'm here to support and help you through this...if you need me, I'm here, I promise I'm not gonna leave. Whatever happens, we will be ok, and this baby will be loved." Cesar said holding on to Monse
Her thoughts started zooming "he wants to keep it???" "I don't know if I want to keep a baby at 14" "i don't want an abortion but maybe adoption at least?" She thought
Ruby went over and hugged them both
"if you guys need me I'll be here, call me if there's any, and I mean ANY problems" Ruby said as he left back to his house.

The room was quiet

Monse gently threw herself back to her pillow "im scared" she said

Cesar went to lie down next to her
"I am too" He said honestly

She put his hands around him and pulled him close. She couldn't cry if she wanted to, she felt numb inside and out. Right now would be a really good time to have a mom!

Cesar kept her close to him
"She's pregnant....because of...me" he thought as he wiped away left tears in Monses eyes

They both laid there, in silence, in each other's arms. They were young, too young to be parents.

Monse sat up quickly as a sound could be heard from outside
"Fuck, my dads home!!" She said jumping out of bed

"What do I do?" She questioned

Cesar got up "tell him, tonight, he has a right to know"

Monse turned to him "he's going to murder you"
Cesar shook his head "remember what I said, it will work out...I'll be back, Text me when to come over" he replied, kissing her then leaving through the window.

Monse walked out into the living room to see her dad. She felt sick.
"Hey munchkin! Sorry I'm a little later than I wanted, but how was your day?" He asked give me a side hug, then walking into the kitchen

The innocence he presumed of me, was all going to be Gone In a matter of hours

Monse cleared her throat "my day was great" she lied

"Good!" Monty said as he grabbed some wine from the fridge

Something inside of Monse switched, she had to tell him, without Cesar, this was her deed not his.
"Hey um...dad?" She asked nervously
"Yeah?" He responded

Monse took a deep breathe and spoke. "So there's a few things I...really..need to tell you"

Monty put his glass of wine down, he could see that Monse was serious
"What's wrong?" He asked

Monse sat down, "so...Cesar. I never told you but..him and I are sorta together. We have been...since before camp actually."
Monty looked confused "why didn't you tell me before? You know how I don't like you keeping things from me Monse" he softly said
Monse sighed "I know but I was just afraid that you wouldn't want me around him...he's the first person I actually like LIKE and I wanted it to be special. Dumb...I know...but there's something else..."
Once again Monty's face stood confused "and what is that?" He asked
