UM- HOLY SHIT??? I found my login for this account and found this story I WROTE WHEN I WAS 14? I'm about to be 18 now? And it has 5k views?? What is goin awn 💀💀 I dunno if y'all still read this or not but this draft has been pending for a while so enjoy? I watched the new season of on my block and I know this isn't relevant to the timeline- I was 14 LMAO. Anyway I may continue this story, I have other ideas for new books or one shots. Monse laid in the bed looking up at the ceiling as tears ran down her cheeks.

She was about to give birth, Early as fuck, and not only was her dad not here, neither was Cesar

Monse started hyperventilating
"Geny, I can't do this without him here! I can't! He needs to be here!" She cried

"Calm down mija! You can do this, I'm right here, he will come back, do you want ruby and Jamal?" Geny Asked, still holding her hand

She could only nod

Geny pulled out her phone and texted ruby about what was happening, and to come fast with Jamal.
A few nurses walked into the room, they all greeted her kindly but all Monse could think about was the one who got her Into this mess, and the fact he wasn't here with her.

-Cesar-
Cesar called an Uber over to the Santos house, he jumped out to see an empty yard.
"This must be really bad" he thought as he could feel his chest tighten with fear and worry for his brother.
He opened the door and looked around. There was no one,
"Hello?!" He yelled.
Cesar walked into the living room and saw everyone sitting on the couch, including spooky, who was just fine.
Cesar's eyes widened
"O-Oscar?" He stumbled
Just then, he was struck by something in the back of the head, he fell to the ground. He groaned in pain, trying to pick himself up,
Spooky walked over and placed his foot on his back, pressing him back down.
"You think we wouldn't find out fool?" He spoke, lowering himself to his level.
"What are you talking about?" Cesar winced
Spooky looked up to his homies, who erupted in laughter
"Your little stunt with the prophet" he replied
"Spooky, please! Let me explain!" Cesar cried
Oscar kicked his side as he curled up
Cesar couldn't remember much, after he felt more punches coming from all sides from not only his brother, but his friends, he blacked out.

Cesar woke up in the hospital, same as Monse. He wasn't sure who brought him here, or how he got here.
He tried to get up but immediately sat back down and was shocked by pain shooting through his body. Especially his right arm and left side.
He grazed his fingers across his face to feel a bandaged cheek.
"What just happened?" He asked to himself

"The Santos being Santos, that's what happened" a voice responded from the chair close to the hospital window
Cesar's eyes widened, it was olivia.

"How did you get here?" He whispered

Olivia shook her head "I brought you here, I found you passed out on the front lawn of the Santos house..." she said
Cesar practically gasped, he was so hurt that his brother would beat him up, and throw him out like some piece of trash. And why would olivia bring him here out of all people?
"I do care, you know that right?" She asked seriously
He looked over at her
"I wasn't the one who told them about latrelle being alive, it was latrelle himself. He told my dad you threatened him, and my dad ended up threatening your brother." She sighed
He looked down at his bruises
"I had nothing to do with this, in fact if they find out I brought you here, I'd be not to far from your situation" She fiddled
"Why would you risk that situation for me?" He asked

"Because, as someone who also grew up in gangs, I know how it feels. And I'm always here if you need me" she grabbed his hand
He smiled as much as he could without hurting himself, he was so sore.
"Thank you" He responded
Olivia turned her head to see Jamal and ruby rushing down the hall
"What are they doing here? I didn't call them" Olivia states, getting up and running over to them.
"Guys? What's going on why are you here?" She asked
Jamal stares at her "could ask the same thing about you!"
"What are you doing here princessa? Ruby asked
She backed away from the door, letting them see Cesar
"Bro!! what the fuck?" Jamal screamed
"Long story...don't worry about me, why are you here?" Cesar replied
Jamal and ruby looked at eachother
"You don't know?" Jamal Asked
"Know what?" Cesar sat up slowly
"Monse is in labor" ruby spoke frantically
"WHAT?" Cesar and Olivia said in unison
"Monse was pregnant??" She looks over to cesar
"Yeah...." he sighed
She almost fainted
"Holy shit today's full of surprises" she ran her fingers through her hair and rolled her eyes, clearly pissed off.
Cesar drew his attention to ruby and Jamal "I need to be there for her!" He panicked
"You can't leave the room" Jamal said
"Please go help her! Tell her I'm here and just say I'll be in soon!" Cesar said, directing them both of the room
Olivia stood in front of Cesar
"So...you're going to be a dad!" She chuckled sarcastically
Cesar smiled, but was distracted by the fact Monse was alone
"Yeah, bud I need to get over to her room, like now!" He said, placing his hands on top of his messy hair.

-Monse-

Monse closed her eyes forcefully and gripped onto her pillow, she was In so much pain.
Ruby and Jamal walk in and she felt relieved, at least they could be there for her.
They both walked over and sat near her
"Cesar's here! In the hospital, but I'm not sure what happened, hes in another room. Looks like he got jumped or something" Jamal blabbed
Ruby shook his head "but don't worry he said he's gonna be over in a couple minutes!" Ruby assures her.

"Jumped?" She repeats
"Not important right now, you need to focus on yourself" Geny spoke
"I can't!" Monse shot back
"Listen mon, this is happening, wether he's here or not. So just accept that" ruby added directly.
A nurse walked into the room with a clipboard
"Monse how long ago did your water break?" She asked

Monse made a weird face "THAT was my water? I thought I just peed myself" she panicked
The nurse laughed "do you remember when?"
"Like...4 hours ago?" She responded

The nurse walked over and checked Monse
"Well, Monse considering you've been in active labor for 4 hours.... if it doesn't pick up we may have to induce you"
Monse put her hands over her face
"But The baby is early!"
The nurse nodded
"The baby should be fine health wise, she would most likely stay here in the NICU for a few days, but nothing major. Especially since you are close to 8 months."

Monse grabbed her phone from the side table as it rang, it was Cesar

M- cesar???
C-hey are you ok? What's happening?
M-The nurses said that I'm literally about to give birth
C- oh my god, I'm in another room, what's your room number?
M-55, level M
C- ok got it, I'll be there in a minute, don't worry ok?
M-please come fast, I can't do this if your not here!
C-I'm coming now,

Monse eagerly sat in pain, waiting for Cesar to come in.
"Haha ima be an uncle!" Ruby spoke,
But clearly Monse or Geny weren't amused
"Hey don't forget about me! Ima uncle too!" Jamal added
"Yah But Like...im the fun one" ruby responded
"GUYS, can you both stop fucking around?" Monse bit
Jamal and ruby looked at eachother
"Well, someone's in a nasty mood" Jamal whispered
"You think?" She responded
