Friends tell friends

Jamal's POV

Jamal got up early this morning, Uhg, school.
But to be honest he was kinda excited before he heard the news about Monse and Cesar, he knew he had to confront them about it.
Jamal finished breakfast and rushed out the door, saying goodbye to his parents. He hopped on the bus and sat in the back next to ruby.
"Where's the happy preggo couple!" He shouted
Ruby put his hands over Jamal's mouth "SHHH, do you need a muzzle?" He said back, "Monses dad drove them," he added
Jamal rolled his eyes "I can't believe they had a secret affair behind our backs!" He whispered
Ruby gave him a stare "listen j, they have been going through a lot of shit recently and this is the first time I've seen them happy, so go easy on them...alright?" He said defensively

Jamal sat back facing towards the front of the bus. All his friends were going crazy!

The bus arrived at the school and everyone hopped out, Ruby ran up to some of his soccer team friends, leaving Jamal alone, he looked over towards the lunch tables to see Cesar sitting on his phone. Totally disregarding what ruby said, Jamal stormed over to him.
"Hey BUDDY! How are you and your sweet piece?" Jamal said sarcastically

Cesar rolled his eyes "look, I'm sorry it took such a long time to tell you, but everything's all set now and things are going pretty well, don't stress Monse out, ok Jamal?" Cesar snapped back
Jamal squinted his eyes at him

Monse walked up to cesar, grabbing his hand
"Ok the guidance said they'd tell the teachers and all" she said turning her head to see an angry Jamal standing there
"Oh...heyyyy jamal" She said forcefully
"Hey mamacita to be!" Jamal said with an attitude
Monse gave him a weird look and turned back to cesar "we don't have time for this" she said, as she pulled Cesar away

Monses POV

Monse held Cesar's hand in hers as they made their way down the halls. She was nervous on how some teachers would view her after learning she was pregnant, she was also nervous of new, older girls, trying to catch on with Cesar. He was hers! She didn't want to be that annoying girlfriend but she was positive that he felt the same way about her with boys.

Cesar and Monse make their way into classroom 22, Mrs. Lawrence's class, history. As soon as they walk in, Monse feels a few stares from a couple teachers aids in the corner of the room, she rushes to the seat farthest in the back and sits down, throwing her hood up
"I'm being judged" she whispered to cesar
He laughed "ignore them, it's fine, who cares what they think" he calmed her

"Alrighty everyone! Welcome back to the new school year! We are bound to have new fun surprises! So as long as you work hard, and meet our goals, you will do ay-ok in my classroom!" Says Mrs.L
Both monse and Cesar leave together once the class ended,
"What do you think of her?" Asked Monse
"I think she's pretty nice," he responded
"Me too!" She agreed
As they continued walking to their next class, they bump into Sarah Morgan, an extremely thotty sophomore. "Oh hey there cesar" she said seductively
Cesar stood back a little "um..hi?" He responded
"I see that we are lab partners! And since it's your first day of high school I figured I'd walk you to the science room and show you the ropes" she laughed
Cesar rolled his eyes "I know my way to the science room Sarah" he said
"Well just cmon we need to be the first paired group there anyway to show the teacher how dedicated we are" she nudged, grabbing his arm
Monse sighed and kissed him, "I'll see you next period we have together I guess" she sadly said
Cesar smiled "lunch?"
Monse nodded as Sarah pulled her boyfriend away. Great. He was alone with this girl who had no good intentions, not a good start to the day.

Monse walked to health class where she sat with ruby. 
"Hello class I am Mr.Sanchez, welcome to health! We will tackle multiple units throughout the year, including topics of how to eat healthy, taking care of ourselves, hormones, STD's and teen pregnancy"
Monse started breathing extremely fast
"Was that last one really necessary?" Ruby whispered to himself .
Monse put her head on her desk, she wanted Cesar with her, she had no idea what was going on with that girl and him
The class ended after an hour, then began the next class, PE, which Monse sat out in Because she couldn't run, "fuck these pregnancy tits" she thought to herself. She pulled out her schedule on the bleachers as Everyone continued to do some exercise. She felt saddened by the fact they only had a total of 3 periods together, history, lunch, and Spanish.
Class eventually finished as Monse rushed to her locker in a crowded hallway to get money from her backpack to buy lunch with.
She saw Cesar at his locker and she went up to him "heyy" she said
Cesar turned around and smiled "hey baby, i missed you" he says, walking with her to the cafeteria. "How was health and gym?" He asked her.
Monse sighed "well..." before she could finish her sentence the school nurse Mrs.Hellman jumped in front of them. "Hey guys! I'm nurse Hellman, I was just told of your situation and I just wanted to say that if you are in any pain, feel free to come down to my office at anytime" she said patting Monses shoulder
Monse nodded as the nurse left. She turned to cesar "I feel smothered" she said
Cesar chuckled "at least your under good care"
They both reached the cafeteria and grabbed food , sitting down at small table under shade with ruby and Jamal.
The table was full of awkward silence until ruby broke the ice. "I already found a few potential girlfriends" he says confidently, trying to start conversation. They all laugh a little
"And I'm sure they found a potential nerd to copy off of" teased Jamal
"Shut up!" Snarked ruby
Monse took a few bites of her food ,
"You need to eat Monse" spoke Cesar
Monse looked down, frustrated.
Cesar put his hand on her leg, "it's okay, don't get stressed" He warmed her. She started to tear up as she put her head on his shoulder "this is really screwing up my day" Monse cried out. "Teachers looking at me, awkward health class conversations that are a little too close to home, and not being able to participate in gym because of my pregnancy body!" She added, talking quietly so only Cesar could hear.
Cesar put his arm around her "just try to focus on school work, you can't complain now because the baby is only gonna grow, a few months from now you'll be wishing for this body again" he joked, trying to cheer her up
She smiled and rolled her eyes. The lunch bell rang, signifying that everyone goes back to class. Monse wrapped her arms around cesar, they kissed each other then split, walking to their own classrooms, until the last class of the Day came around, Spanish

-Spanish class, last period-
Señora W, came in to a full class.
"Hola class! I am Señora Weimar, but you can call me Señora W," she spoke

Jamal, Ruby, Monse and Cesar all sat together at a table,
Monse leaned over to cesar and quietly spoke, "I never asked, how was lab class with Sarah?" She asked
Cesar laughed "it was like trying to talk to a wall, she ignored anything I had to say, but i had to listen to her go off about her ex boyfriend" he chuckled
"Can you guys be quiet? I know you two already know Spanish but I'd like to learn a little" Jamal said, still in a bad mood.
"Jamal...it's the first day, there's not gonna be anything to learn, it's just an introduction" Cesar responded, "also stop with the Attitude, it's getting annoying"he added
Jamal sat up and collected his papers "I can't even look at you" he said, moving to another table.
Ruby laughed "yo he's been so pissed"
"Just give him time, he will adjust" Monse said.

Soon after, class ended and they all left school.
"Want me to call an Uber home?"Cesar  spoke
"We can walk" Monse laughed
"I know but I dont want you to get tired" He added
Monse put her bag over her shoulder
"I'm pregnant not elderly" she joked
Cesar laughed "if you say so"

They walked back to Monses house,
Monse went into the kitchen, searching cabinets
"There's literally no good food in this house" she moaned
"We can go over to my brothers house, he's got stuff" Cesar replied
Monse thought about it, but agreed to go. Normally she wouldn't want to be around spooky, but he did give Cesar and Her money, and besides Monse was starving.
"Alright" she responded
They both walked over to the Santos house across the street, Cesar kept Monse behind him, and brought her in quick before some of the guys hanging around had a chance to be gross with her.
"Kitchens over here" Cesar said bringing Monse over.
She looked inside the food cabinets and grabbed a small bag of chips,
Spooky walked out of his room "Whatsup ese" He said, patting Cesar on the back. Cesar greeted his brother,
"How you doin lil mama" spooky said looking at monse sitting down on the couch. "Pregnancy cravings" he added, watching her eat the chips.
Monse gave him a weird look,
"No she just had no food at her house, and she was hungry, she didn't eat lunch today because of nausea" Cesar cut in
"Ohhh, by the way how's high school going for you?" Spooky replied
"Not that different" Cesar spoke, sitting next to Monse
All of a sudden, a police car sped down the road *LOCK DOWN, THIS STREET IS NOW UNDER LOCKDOWN, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOMES*
Monse laid her head back, sighing
"Are you fucking kidding me?" She spoke
She couldn't believe she was here, in the SANTOS HOUSE!! WITH SPOOKY!
Spooky laughed and turned to one of his friends "again?" He laughed
"2 time in one week" he added

Cesar looked over to Monse
"It will be over soon, don't worry" he assured her.
Monse nodded, at this moment she felt the chips inside her stomach move around. Oh no....not here!! Not in front of everyone!!!
Monse gave cesar a look, holding her mouth with her hand, cesar by this point knew what was happening, he quickly pointed to the bathroom down the hall where Monse ran.
All of spookys friends sat confused in the kitchen as they turned there attention to cesar, who followed after her.
Monse was so embarrassed, she didn't want to return back to everyone and have to explain why she just puked, did they already know? Did spooky tell them? She thought. Cesar helped her up, washing her face with a wet cloth by the sink. "You feel better?" He asked
"Sorta" she replied "kinda embarrassed" she added
Cesar gave her soap to wash her hands "don't be, it's not your fault and you can't help it" he calmed her.
They both returned to the living room and sat down, a bunch of grown men staring at monse, confused.
Spooky took a sip of his beer as they sat in silence
"So...whens the baby coming?" Spooky said
Monse was mortified
Cesar shot spooky a look
"What? Everyone already knows" Oscar spoke pointing at his friends.
Monse covered her face with her hands.
Cesar shook his head "March..." he said

Spooky raised his eyebrows
"Oh nice" he said, taking another sip of his beer
"Ayo I cant believe lil spooky got a hyna knocked up" a man joked from the couch, causing everyone else to erupt in laughter
Monse stood up walking into the hallway with tears in her eyes, Cesar followed after her.
"Just stay in my room" Cesar spoke, guiding her.
Monse walked into his room and sat down on the bed
"I want to go home" she cried
Cesar closed the door and sat with her, putting his arm around her "it's ok, you will" he spoke softly
Monse leaned in to kiss Cesar when a sharp pain in her stomach kicked in, she shot her hands to her abdomen "OW!" She cried, leaning off the bed.
Cesar stood up "what's wrong??" He asked, concerned.
Monse couldn't speak through the pain, all she could do was poing to her stomach and mouth "it hurts"
Cesar had her sit back and lay down on his bed, her eyes starting watering as tears fell down her cheek
"My stomach hurts really bad, something is wrong" she cried softly
"Stay here, I'll be right back" Cesar spoke, leaving the room to get spooky
