Monse finished her work and ran up from her bed to greet her dad outside

"I missed you!" She hugged him tight
"I missed you too baby" he replies,
"Get inside its cold" Monse laughed, grabbing his hand and guiding him.
Monty walked into the kitchen, and started the coffee maker
"How was work?" Monse Asked, sitting down and pulling out her phone
"Same as it always is" he spoke
Monse ran through her Instagram
"Cesar at school?" He asked, grabbing a mug from the cabinet
"Yup" she nodded
Monse walked into her room to shower, she pulled off her long baggy t-shirt and pushed her leggings down. She entered the bathroom, looking at her reflection in the mirror. Cesar was right, her bump was more noticeable, even wearing clothes over it. But for being now (7 months pregnant), it wasn't very big. She took her shower, than threw on Cesar's sweatshirt and sat on her bed.
*knock knock*
Monse sat straight up? "Cesar?"
Ruby walked in
"Incorrect, it's me, sorry to disappoint" he sarcastically said.
Jamal came up behind him, "and me! Don't forget about me, like always" he mumbles
Monse rolled her eyes
"Schools out, so where's Cesar?" She asked
"His brother needed him" ruby sighed "but we are here so Focus on us" he smiled
Monse glared at him
"Anywho, Monse we need your help" Jamal spoke.
"For the last time, I'm not doing your physics homework" she pushed him away slightly
"No!" Ruby replied "it's...about a girl" he added
"Olivia, to be precise"
Monse sat up "who?"
"Ok, so olivia is this girl in our grade, I met her at the Halloween dance in October, and she hit me with the boyfriend card." He paused "BUT, I hang by my window every day at 4:30 to see her walk home, and there's never anyone there with her, not to mention, I've followed her around the school lot, and still, NO boyfriend" he finished
Monse raised her eyebrows "wow, stalk much?"
Ruby sighed "listen, I found out she's new to freeridge this year! And I asked her at lunch yesterday if she wanted to hang with us, she said sure....and she's sorta coming right now" he panicked
"To MY house?" Monse yelled
"Yes! I said this is where we hang, I wasn't lying! Besides, having me, her, and Jamal...alone, in my house...I want her to be present to another female our age so she feels comfortable" he itches his head
Jamal nodded
Monse sat up and picked up clothes, laying on the ground "why wouldn't you tell me yesterday? My rooms a mess, IM a mess!" She added
"Monse chill, you're always a mess." Jamal helped her pick up clothes
She threw a shirt at him
"Now, I have to change, AND explain this?" She asked, pointing at her stomach
"You don't have to tell her, just keep the clothes you have on now, you can barley tell" ruby speaks.
Monse side eyed him and walked into her bathroom, brushing her hair
Ruby and Jamal heard the door bell travel throughout the house
"Shit! She's here!" Ruby stood up, fixing his hair with his hands, and going to open the door for her.
"Hi" she waved, holding her book bag with one hand
Ruby cleared his throat
"C-come In!" He moved, making way for her to enter the house.
He brought her to Monses room, where Jamal and Monse sat on the bed
"Hi! I'm Monse, welcome to my house" She spoke with a fake smile
"I'm Jamal, but you already knew that" he said, swinging his legs back and forth off the bed
Olivia smiled kindly
It was kinda awkward for a few minutes
"Monse, you got any snacks?" Ruby whispered to Monse
She nodded and pointed down the hall to the kitchen
"Alright y'all, Jamal and I are gonna go fix some snacks up, we will return momentarily" he winked and left the room, leading Jamal with him.
Monse played with the pen in her hand while Olivia looked around, Monse had covered the crib with blankets before olivia came to avoid questions.
"So.." olivia spoke quietly
Monse looked over at her "you have a boyfriend?" She blurted out

Olivia giggled "um...no. But I'm straight so..."
Monse rolled her eyes "not for me, for ruby. And you told him you had one" she laughed
"Yeah but that's because a shit ton of dudes came up to me, asking the same question. And so I lied" she laughed with her
"Ruby is a nice kid, when he sees someone he likes, he turns into a full blown gentleman" Monse picks apart the pen in her hand
"Good to know" Olivia smiles
"So, you go to freeridge?" She asked
Monse sat up "Nope, homeschooling" she sighed
"Oh, how come?" She asked
Monse bit her lip
"It's just easier" she lied. Monse looked at the wall behind olivia, Shit! She didn't hide the ultrasound picture hanging. Olivia saw Monses eyes drift, she followed her gaze, "aw who's baby is that?" She asked
Right then, ruby and Jamal walked in with a snack tray, they couldn't have come in at s better time.
"Here you go princessa" ruby spoke, handing her lemonade and trail mix
She blushed slightly "thank you" she took it from him.
Jamal sat back down, taking loud obnoxious sips from his straw.
"Let's all get to know eachother" ruby asks
"Ok, um...I moved here from Texas....I am 14, birthdays June 16th, annnndddd Im single" Olivia stated
Ruby's eyes went wide "single? But you said-.."
Olivia laughed "I lied"
Ruby smiled and raised his eyebrows
"Ok, well my turn then. I'm 14, I am like 4"11, and I have really good hair" ruby states, throwing a handful of snacks into his mouth
"That's debatable" Monse snickers
"Oh shush! Ok Jamal you go"
"I'm 15...I work at my dads restaurant, aaaand I am black" he shrugs
Olivia laughs
"Bro, we didn't mean state the obvious" ruby threw a pretzel at him
Monse raises her eyebrows "well my turn, I'm 15, I hate thunderstorms, my parents are divorced and I live here with my boyfriend and my dad" she finishes
"Oh who's your boyfriend?"  Olivia Asked
"Um..Cesar diaz" Monse fiddles with her fingers.
Olivia chokes on her drink
"What?"
"He's my boyfriend" Monse gives her a weird look
"Like, Cesar diaz...lil spooky? The Santos?" She asked again
Monse slowly nodded "Yeah....why?"
"Nothing it's just..."
Jamal cut her off "BORING"
Monse slapped the back of his head
"I should go" Olivia grabs her bag and stands up
"Wait Don't Go!" Ruby yells
But she's already down the hallway and out the door
"Well...that was weird" Jamal whispers
Monse bites her nail "what the fuck?" She looked at both of them

What was up with Olivia? She was totally fine until she mentioned the whole Cesar thing.....something up
