ALSO, Olivia is mentioned in this chapter, but in this story she isn't Ruby's cousin, just a high school student who ruby has a crush on!

It was Friday afternoon and school had just got out,

Ruby, Jamal, Cesar and Monse were all hanging out in Jamal's room

"Well...? What ya guys think?" Ruby said confidently as him and Jamal walked into the room together, wearing matching vampire costumes

Cesar and Monse laughed
"That's cute" She spoke
"The girls aren't gonna keep their hands off you guys" he joked

Ruby rolled his eyes "are you guys coming?"

Monse looked confused "I don't go to freeridge, I can't go..duh"

"They allow guests...duh!" Jamal mocked her
"Yeah, Cesar can bring you as his plus one" ruby added
Monse sighed and looked at him
"No"
Cesar nudged her "oh come on...it could be fun!"
She looked over at ruby and Jamal, then back at Cesar "Uhg...fine!" She paused "but I'm not wearing a costume" she declared

"That's fine, neither is Cesar apparently" Jamal eyed him sarcastically
"Whatever" Cesar laughed "let's just go"

They all walked together to freeridge High,
The music was blasting so loud, and the  colored lights beaming on the dance floor were blinding
Jamal and ruby did their secret handshake "you ready ese?"  Ruby patted him on the back
"More than ever!" He responded as they walked over into the crowd

Cesar grabbed monses hand as they walked in
"Hey you wanna dance?" He asked her
Monse laughed "I don't dance Cesar, we all know that"
He shook his head and smirked
"Oh come on"
She smiled "no way!" She joked

"Oh hey Monse!!" A voice called over
Monse turned around
"Charlene!" She responded, giving her a hug
"Oh my god where on earth have you been" she asked
Monse exchanged looks with Cesar, questioning if she should tell the truth or not
"Well um...." She stuttered
Charlene gave a confusing look
"So long story short....I'm pregnant!" She blurted out to her
"WHAT?" She yelled back "HOW?"
Monse smirked "I'm pretty sure we both know how,"
Charlene shook her head "didn't mean it like that....who's the dad? How far are you?"
Monse laughed slightly "Cesar....and I'm 5 months...expecting a baby girl"
Charlenes eyes widened brightly, she glanced at Cesar, standing besides her.
"daaaaamn....that means you were pregnant at camp?" She asks
"Yup, explains the puking" Monse nods
"Oh and don't tell anyone....I left for a reason...if this got out, oh lord I don't know what I'd do. It's hard enough being 15 and pregnant, I don't need everyone knowing" she sighed

Before Charlene could respond, a tall brunette barged in front on Monse, blocking Charlene. "Did you just say 15 and pregnant? Are you pregnant Monse?" She asked, deathly staring at her
This was one of Monses old friends she didn't talk to anymore
"Um" she didn't know how to respond
"Is that why you left this school?" She continued bombarding her with questions
Monse fiddled with her fingers in her sweatshirt pocket, which she wore to cover her bump.
Cesar gave her a look and pushed Monse back
"That's none of your business" he barked back
"So YOU ARE?" She continued
"No, no...shes not!" He defended her
"Then why were you talking about pregnancies at 15? And not telling anyone?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips
"I was talking about ....a dream! Yah...a dream." Monse interrupted
The tall brunette glared at both of them "mmmhmm" she walked away

Monse let out a huge breathe "Are you fucking kidding me?" She said, looking at Cesar "this is ridiculous I want to leave" she continued
"no, it's ok, I'm here! We don't have to talk to anyone else but you definitely need this. Your inside all day everyday" he defends
She rolled her eyes
"Well I'll catch you guys later, and Monse, text me tonight!" Charlene spoke, walking away with friends
