"So you keys summon spirits?" Mom says finally understanding after having it explained five times.

"Yes." I say. "Okay I'll show you now." I say as I grab Leo's key. I stand up from the couch. I hold out Leo's key and say, "Open, gate of the Lion." I key starts to glow and Leo appears. I look over to mom. She is sitting there with her mouth hanging open.

"You called?" Leo says still looking at me.

"I wanted to introduce you to my mom." I say turning to mom. Mom finally regains herself  as Leo walks over to her. He grabs her hand gently and kisses it.

"My name is Leo." He says as he stands up straight.

"You can call me Evelyn." She says.

"It is nice to meet you, but I'll have to be going now." Leo says before disappearing. I walk over to mom and sit down next to her.

"You have more of those?" mom asks. I nod my head and hold up my keys. "What are their names?"

"Well they are all of the twelve zodiac. So it would be Aquarius, Aries, Scorpio, Virgo, Pisces, Libra, Taurus, Sagittarius, Cancer, Gemini, Capricorn, and you already know Leo." I say feeling very smart. I continued to fill her in on the zodiac spirits throughout the rest of the night.

"Laurel!" I say as I quickly sit down next to her in the theater.

"What?" Laurel asks. I quickly look around to see if anyone was in earshot.

"My keys are real!" I whisper. Then she looks at me as if I'm crazy.

"Stop fooling around." she says in a serious tone.

"I'm telling the truth!" I say a little offended. "If you don't believe me I'll invite you over to see."

"Fine I'll come over." She says.

"Great." I say. Then the bell rings.

Throughout the morning it felt like the clock wasn't moving as fast as it should. I was relieved when the bell rang for lunch. I hurry out of science and straight to lunch where I got a salad. I sit at same table as Laurel as usual and soon after Joshua joins us.

"Do you like any Fairy tail ships?" I asked Joshua.

"Yeah. Do you?" I nod my head as I stuff some of my salad in my mouth.. "Which ships do you like?" he says.

"I like Nalu, Gruvia, Gale, Jerza, Cappy (Or Chappy), Miraxus, Elfgreen, Aquario, Bixanna, Rowen, Zervis, Lories, and a lot of others that I can't think of right now." I say.

"I disagree with Miraxus. I think it should be Fraxus." Says Laurel, "Freed needs someone too."

"Which ships do you like, Joshua?" I ask.

"Well I like a lot of the ships you like." he said. As I'm about to say something a paper is dropped in front of me. I look around for the person who dropped it, but no one was standing.

"What is it?" Laurel asks.

"It's probably my fan mail." I say in a joking manner as Laurel rolls her eyes. I pick it up and start to unfold it. I read:

Fairy Geek has a nerd for a boyfriend

"Fairy Geek" was Rebecca and Rachel's nickname for me. Suddenly I heard everyone from Rebecca and Rachel's table started to giggle . I hand the paper to Laurel so she can read it.

"What is it about?" Joshua asked.

"Oh nothing." I say quickly, not wanting him to know. We all sat in a uncomfortable silence for a few minutes.

"Which ship is you favorite?" I say breaking the silence. "Mine is Aquario."

"Mines Nalu." Laurel says.

"I like Zervis. They are like yin and yang, or light and dark." Joshua states. Then the bell rings signaling the end of lunch.

"You should show the note to the guidance councilor." Laurel whispers in my ear.

I shake my head as I say, "It fine. Any way I don't want to make it worse." She looked at me sadly as she went in to her class.

-----------------------

I climb off the bus with Laurel behind me. "Your mom knows that your here, right?" I ask.

"Yeah I texted her at school." She says holding up her phone. I walk up to the door, unlock it with my key, and open it stepping in quickly. I stand next to the open door with my hand on the knob.

"Madame." I say as bow slightly while Laurel steps inside giggling. We slip off our shoes and head into my room. We plop our bags on the floor near the door. I go to my bed side table where my keys lay. "You should sit down for this." I warn. She sits on the edge of my bed as pick out Virgo's key from the key ring. "Prepare to be amazed." I say spreading my legs slightly getting into a stance.

"Open gate of the Maiden!" I say. The key glows and a girl with short pink hair appears. She has blue eyes and is wearing a maids outfit. Chains are around each of her wrists. She gives off the same feeling that Leo did. I look over to Laurel and burst out laughing. Her eyes were wide and her jaw was dropped.

She regained herself at the sound of my laughing. "Whats so funny?" she asked confused.

"Your... face." I say still laughing. Soon enough I regain myself.

"Hello princess." Virgo said making me jump.

"Hello Virgo. Want to make a contract?" I say holding out my hand.

"Of course princess." She says taking my hand. I shake her hand and then I get my notebook and pencil.

"what days are you free?" I ask pencil at the ready.

"All days, Princess." I write that down quickly next to her name.

"Virgo this is my friend Laurel." I say gesturing to Laurel.

"Hello Miss." Virgo says. Laurel just waves her hand slightly.

"Goodbye Virgo." I say deciding that she wasn't needed at the moment.

"Goodbye Princess." She says a she disappears. I walk over to Laurel and sit on the bed beside her. I already can feel my magic energy has gone down. I guess to don't have very much yet.

"You believe me now?" I ask joking. She nods her head up and down. "I think I have enough magic energy to summon one more spirit." I get up and look through my keys. I grabbed Aries key and got into the same stance as before. "Open, gate of the Ram." The key glowed just like before a girl appeared. Her hair was pink too, but it was longer than Virgo's. It curled a the ends. She had two ram horns poking out of her hair and her eyes were deep brown. She was wearing a short white sleeveless dress. She had unattached sleeves that almost went up to her shoulders. She also wore socks that went up to her knees. All of her clothing looked soft like wool. A worried expression was on her face.

"Hello Miss. I'm sorry!" She says in a quick voice.

"Would you like to make a contract with me Aries?" I say trying my best to smile kindly. She nodded her head almost shamefully. "What days are you available?"

"Everyday except for the weekends. I'm sorry!" She says. I write it down quickly.

"Thank you! You may go now." I say smiling, but also feeling tired. She disappears, but not without apologizing first. I sigh as I plop down on my bed next to Laurel. I fall back so that I'm laying next to her.

"I'm SO tired!" I say.

"That makes sense since you just started using magic that means your magic container probably can't hold that much magic energy yet." Laurel says in a matter of fact way.

"Are you saying I'm weak!" I say slightly angry. Laurel just made a face and shrugged her shoulders.

"Kind of." She says. She looks at me and starts laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" I say annoyed.

"Your... face." She says laughing. I start laughing too, and soon we are both laughing and clutching our sides, our faces as red as beets.
