I watch in horror as Spirit tamer kills Coral, Elizabeth, and Joshua one by one with his black spirit sword. I lay helpless, on my stomach, on the floor defeated, my body not working. A few feet away, just out of my reach, lay my gate key. All of them were shattered. Spirit tamer walks up so he is towering above me.
"Bring her in." He calls not taking his eyes of my pathetic form. A few minutes later two of his spirits come in dragging mom by her arms. She is bruised and covered in scratches. I try pushing myself up, but only manage to fall back to the floor. He draws his intimidating sword as the spirits stop to the left of him. He turns and raises his sword above his head bringing it down with a clean slice.
With my remaining energy I scream, "NOOOOOO!" The spirits disappear and her limp lifeless form falls to the floor. Then he turns to me smirking with a evil glint in his eyes. He raises the sword and he swings it down on me-
I sit up gasping. Sweat drenched my night shirt. It's been seven days since I returned home. I spent the whole time chilling at the home. Nightmares similar to this one have haunted me every night this week.
I look around and see that the sun was starting to rise. Instead of trying to fall back to sleep I decide to finally turn my phone back on. I've turning it off the day after I got home. I didn't want to deal with any notifications I most likely got. I power it on and on my lock screen are a ton of text messages from Laurel. I get on messages and start reading the long list of texts.
