Chapter 16: the story of us

Harry's POV

I watched as Louis leaned in and kissed Ali. She smiled into the kiss and she looked so happy. That's when I broke. That kiss was uncalled for. Louis knows I like her and it's unfair that he got to kiss her before me. I watched a little while longer when they pulled away. She had a smile that could kill me, she had sparkles in her eyes. You can tell he likes him, I wished she looked at me like that. My heart dropped to my stomach and my eyes filled with tears. I really like her. I like her so much. I've never liked this for a girl before. Her smile makes me so happy, her laughs makes me laugh along. And her eyes makes me feel like I can melt in them. I don't know if it's love because it's only been a few days since I met her. But I know I like her so much it hurts. 

Louis put his arm around her shoulders and she wrapped her arm around his waist. She looked up into his face and she smiled even wider. That's when the tears spilt over. I wished she looked at me like that. I haven't given up on her yet. I walked back towards the beach and wiped the tears away. I breathed in deeply and tried to make sure I didn't sound like I was crying. I sat down beside Zayn and he looked like he was about to cry. 

'Hey bradford bad boy. What's wrong with you?' I asked him. I sounded normal which is good. 

'Jake asked Jenna to be his girlfriend.' his voice broke. He looked so broken.

'Ali and Louis kissed.' I whispered to him. 

'Oh, I'm sorry Harry.' he said looking at me. He had tears in his eyes. 

'I'm sorry too Zayn. Maybe we can win our girls over.' he smiled at that. 

'Maybe' he said back. 

I looked up and I saw Niall with a girl. He had sparkles in his eyes and I can tell she made him really happy. 

'Whos that?' I asked Zayn, pointing to the chick. 

'That's Janelle.' he replied. I got up and walked over to Niall. 

'Hey, Nialler.' I said, smiling. 

'Oh, hey Harry.' Niall said. I looked at him as if he was missing something so obvious.

'Oh, yeah. Janelle this is Harry and Harry this is Janelle.' he said, introducing us. 

'Hi, Janelle.' I said, putting on my winning smile and shaking her hand. 

'Hi, Harry.' she said. She had a nice smile. 

'Janelle?' we heard a voice crack. We all saw Jenna in tears and string at janelle. 

'W-what are y-you doing here?' she stuttered. 

'Oh, Jenna, hi.' Janelle said. She sounded a little bit angry. What happened with these two?

'Okay, this has been bugging me for a while. What went down with you two?' Niall announced. Everyone turned to both of them. Jenna was crying and she always flinched whenever janelle moved. And janelle had her eyes narrowed and her teeth clenched. 

'What the hell is she doing here?' Alira whispered and her eyes were shining with tears. Louis tightened his grip and whispered in her ear. I looked away, my heart was breaking. I want to be the one to hold her when she's upset. 

‘Oh, great. She’s here too.’ Janelle muttered under her breath and no one heard but me. My eyebrows furrowed, I am really confused. 

‘Please tell me what’s going on.’ Niall whispered, looking at Janelle. He looked upset.
