Chapter 31: shake it off
I walked towards the elevator after watching the beautiful fireworks that burst into the sky. I couldn't get over how amazing this night was. This night was more than any of my boyfriends gave me. This night has shown how much he cares about me and how much we actually get along. He makes me feel so special, he makes me feel like a little kid with his childlike behaviour. He makes me fall for him faster than any other guy I’ve been with. He lets me be myself. Louis is amazing.
His arm snakes around my waist as we went into the elevator. We stood there, facing each other, looking into each other’s eyes, smiling like weirdos. His blue eyes was on fire, they were scorching and they made me melt inside. There was silence through the whole room, it wasn’t awkward, it was more of a romantic one.
‘You’re beautiful.’ Louis whispered, as he looked into my chocolate brown eyes. I blushed deep red and I looked down at my feet, smiling to myself.
‘And when you smile at the ground, it ain’t hard to tell. You don’t know, you don’t know you’re beautiful.’ He whispered the lyrics to me and I looked back up.
‘Louis, have I ever told you you’re amazing?’ I whispered to him.
‘No.’ He smiled smugly, with full knowledge that I have told him that.
‘Well, you’re amazing.’ I smiled at him.
‘I have a secret.’ He whispered.
‘What is it?’ I asked him.
‘You already told me that.’ He whispered in my ear. And I pretended to play along.
‘But you said I didn’t!’ I fake gasped.
‘I lied.’ He grinned.
‘Aw well.’ He shrugged, and he leaned in. Our lips met and I smiled into the kiss. Nothing can ever ruin this night.
The elevator dinged and the doors open. I stepped out then all of a sudden I was swept off my feet. (how cliché). He carried me back to the limo and practically threw me in.
‘Louis!’ I screamed, fixing up my dress.
‘Yes?’ He smiled innocently. I just shook my head in response.
‘You’re a weirdo.’ I laughed.
‘Yeah, but I’m a good weirdo.’ He boasted out his chest.
‘Weirdo’s aren’t good, idiot.’ I rolled my eyes.
‘Weirdo’s are fun. Don’t. Diss. Weirdos.’ He jabbed a finger at me.
‘Chill, bro.’ I said, putting my arms up in mock surrender.
‘Fine, bro.’ He mocked the word.
‘Kay, bro.’ I mocked him.
‘Yeah, bro.’ He said back.
‘Don’t ever say that again.’ I said, seriously.
‘You started it!’ He pointed at me.
‘You kept it going!’ I screamed back.
‘But it’s because I’m cool.’ He crossed his arms.
‘No, you’re not!’ I crossed my arms.
‘You’re only jealous because I’m cool.’ He smiled sheepishly.
‘And you’re only saying that because you know I’m better than you.’ I winked.
‘No! I’m better.’ He said back.
