Fire

We were packing up so we could go back to town. I was aloud to keep all the dresses I was given. As I was packing someone came into my room.
"Anora", I heard Ren's voice said.
" Yes ", I answered no looking at him.
He came and sat on my bed and said, " We need to leave can you hurry up".
"No", I said.
I heard him get the letter from the side table.
" Were you close to your mother?", he asked.
I paused what I was doing and said, "I was never close with anyone definitely not her. She was always scary to me although she taught me how to use a gun".
" Seems like she cared for you", he said.
"Maybe but she's a demon and that's all she'll ever be to me", I said going back to what I was doing.
" Are you going to kill her?", he asked putting the letter back.
"Yes and Mammon", I said determined, " If I am some type of savior I will win this battle for us".
"I'm glad", he said.
" But I still need to train ", I said done packing up, " That's the only way I win".
He smiled and got off from bed then, left. I followed close behind.
We traveled back to town without stopping which was very tiring. But when we got back the town was burned to the ground. Except for the blind lady's house.
"Where is everyone?", I asked worried.
" Go to Lady Genesis' house she might know what happened ", Ren said while him and North went to look for survivors.
I knew the blind lady's name now. So when I came in she was sitting with a man.
" Who is he?", I asked Lady Genesis pointing my gun at them.
"Captain Grewy", he said calmly.
" What happened?", I asked putting my gun down but had my knife close.
"Big unholy fires came the town", Lady Genesis replied as Grewy nodded.
"Is anyone alive?", I asked not letting my guard down.
" I think some ran into the forest but most died", he said surging his shoulders.
"And you did nothing!", I screamed.
" There was nothin' I could do but save myself", he said me noticing his accent.
"You stupid and selfish!", I yelled even louder getting my knife to his throat. It started to burn!
" You are demon", I said.
"There is nothin' you can do Anora", he said laughing.
North and Ren came in from hearing all the loud noise.
"Anora what are you doing?", North said trying to get me off.
"He helped start to fire! And is a demon! ", I yelled surprised.
" Kill him", Ren said quietly.
I sliced his throat the blood on my face and the floor.
"Every time at the end of practice he would go into a room and talk to him self and a voice would talk back", Ren said, " I should have said something sooner",
"It's fine he is dead now", I said wiping the blood off.
" We found most of the soldiers. The were out hunting ", North said trying to make good out of the situation.
" We need to fight back. Gather everything we can and we need to request an army", I said cleaning my knife, "if they want to play we can play".
" I will write the letter", Lady Genesis said.
"Yes ma'am", North said laughing.
We soon began training very hard for this attack. We planned it so we would attack at a Wednesday night. I decided to wear a white dress with a black ribbon. Just like Mother when she fought. Tomorrow night is the night we will fight till the end!
