I went to the library to see the princess with the book I requested her to find and a couple of papers. She was asleep so I looked at the papers. It was a detailed report of the book.
"Mornin' princess", I said satisfied with her analysis.
" I would prefer if you would call me by my real name...Antipeters", she said tired.
"The same name as Mother", I said to myself.
" Isn't your mother a demon", she asked me.
"Yes a very evil one", I told her, " Anyways what did you learn"
"That the woman is very independent and do not need anyone to help her. She can fight on her own which is not very common", she told laying her head down.
" I want you to do that. ", I told her.
" I don't know how to fight", she told me.
"What weapon would you like to learn how to use?", I asked her.
" A sword", she said looking away.
"Why?", I asked surprised she even had an answer.
" I want to protect someone like the quards.", she said determined.
"Interesting I want you to learn about how they are made. You must know everything about your weapon before using it", I said think about my own weapons.
" Why?", she asked.
"You'll trust it more", I said walking away.
I went into the room where we ate in the morning to see North and Ren chasing a cat around the table. It had turkey in its mouth when it saw me it jumped on the table. Then it turned into Widow? Which broke the table.
" Good morning Widow", I said petting him as he ate his turkey.
"Anora you have a lot of explaining to do", North said.
" What do I need to explain?", I asked not bothered.
"Where did you find him?", North asked.
" In a cage", I said simply, "he is harmless unless you try and hurt him".
" You can't just take things from a random cage", North said frantically.
"They were gonna hurt him and he did nothin' wrong", I said as Widow turned into a cat again and jumped into my arms.
" You know nothing about this beast", North said nervously.
"I don't need to", I said, " It's a journey I don't need to know everything before I do something".
"I hate teenagers", North said to himself.
I walked away with Widow in my arms and suddenly ran into someone. I looked up to see Mammon. My heart sunk and Widow hissed.
" Anora good to see you ", he said with his evil grin.
" Excuse me", I said trying to get around him.
"What do you have there?", he asked stepping in front of me.
" A cat", I said.
"Let me hold him", he said trying to grab Widow. He jumped out of my arms and went into his beast state.
" Oh Anora that is no cat", he laughed, "that's Bloodcat".
" What's that?", I asked keeping my quard up.
"When they consume blood the get stronger", he said stepping closer to Widow, " Too bad you got him before I did".
"Anything else I should know?", I asked rudely.
" Yes... I will kill you on the battle field", he said smiling.
"I'd like to see you try", I said, " Only humans can kill me".
"I will posses a human that you trust and they will kill you", he said.
" How do you know it'll work?", I asked in disbelief.
"When you die I know it works", he smiled.
" Good luck then! I'll kill you before you even try. ", I said smiling back.
" Then kill me now ", he requested.
" No. I will kill you when I want", I said looking away. I walked away feeling empty. Widow followed behind looking the exact same.
"We'll kill him when he least expects it", I told Widow, " With everything we got".
