When I got down from the rope there was a hill that I had to slide down. The dirt was soft but I couldn't hold on it for long. I got a few scratches from it. My hands were bleeding worse now. I raped it in a cloth I had. I could still see the light maybe I should go to it. What if it's dangerous? Suddenly, it started to rain so I went into a tree. It rarely rained in Angelpost. It only happened once but I was younger. I started to cry. My siblings are gone.
"Sacrificed for some demon", I said to myself. As I said that I heard thunder.
I soon fell asleep listening to the rain.
I woke up the next morning to the birds singing. I jumped down from the tree and walked towards the light. Luckily there was a path leading many ways but I only went towards to light. It was warm and windy. I have already walked about a mile. Suddenly, I could see a man, a donkey, and a wagon. As he got closer I saw his face. He was older looking and so was the donkey. We got close enough now were we could talk to each other.
"What are doing out here?", the mad asked stopping the wagon.
" I'm not sure", I said.
"What's your name?", he asked.
" Anora Butler", I said putting on a strong face.
"Anora Butler! We must get you to town right now!", he said turning his wagon around, " Climb on back".
"Bring me some where else and I'll blow your head off", I said getting in the wagon.
" Yes ma'am", he said holding his neck.
"Your from Angelpost right?", he asked.
" Yes why? ", I asked.
" Well your popular in town. Your going to help us win the war", he said.
"What war?", I asked getting my gun out.
" Oh well I guess you don't know what that is. The war is between the North and South. It's between demons and humans.", he said.
"Why?", I asked thinking back to the book.
" If the humans should rule or demons", he said.
"But why me?", I asked surprised.
" Your father helped the North while he was in Angelpost. He gave up his life so you could be the holy child and help us win", he said excited.
"I'm not sure I can do that", I said, " I'm only a child. I want to grow up. I want to forget I was ever there. "
"Well", he said, " It's your choice. But maybe you don't have to fight you can just help out".
"Maybe", I said. He talked about his trade sales and such things until we got to the town. My new life!
