Beast

After the meeting North gave me a long talk about how I made things worse. It was very useless. As I was on my way to my room a butler came up to me.
"Anora I want to show you something", he said nervously.
" What?", I asked.
"I'm not sure just come with me", he said walking with me.
We walked into a dark room and I heard growling. He brought a candle with him but it didn't do much.
" It's up ahead", he said nervously pointing ahead.
When I got close I felt a cold bar and suddenly all the candles lit up in the room. I saw a giant beast infront of me! He was dark red and big black eyes. His fur looked soft but his teeth were big sharp. It can most likely smell my fear so I must remain calm. It was right in front of my face.
"What is it?", I asked not looking behind me.
" I'm not sure. It looks very similar to the beast the humans had in the old war. ", he said more nervous than ever.
" It can smell how nervous you are please calm down. I won't let it hurt you", I said looking at the beast's dark eyes.
"Your scared aren't you?", I asked the beast. He growled to answer. Although I didn't know what that meant.
"No one has got that close! Not even the king", he said.
" Where did they find him?", I asked still not looking away.
"The knights brought him in from the forest. They are planning on doing testing on him. ", the butler said putting his candle down.
"If they lay a finger on this beast I will kill them", I said calm.
" Why? He is just a beast", he asked me.
"He is but that means nothing", I said, " You don't have to hurt ever beast unless they deserve it. This beast has done nothing wrong ".
I put my hand through the bars to touch it. I let him come to me I will not force anything on the beast. It took a few minutes for it to react. He put his nose on my hand and started to rub his head on it. I smiled.
" Let's get him out of this cage", I said walking back from the cage.
"You sure?", the butler asked scared.
" No but let's do it", I said confidently.
We went into the court yard where there were no guards. The beast's fur glowed in the sun. He looked happy now but still scared. He was very big compared to me.
"You should give him a name", the butler said.
" Gree", I asked the beast. He gave me a weird look.
"Ned", I asked and he did the same thing.
" Widow", I asked and he jumped around.
"Can you please leave?", I asked the butler. He left soon after.
Me and Widow began to get to know each other kinda. I understood his wat of say yes and no while he learned about my ways of living. He still did not trust me enough for me to ride him. He only ate turkey and the blood of any living thing.
We webt to my bedroom to sleep for the night sneaking past all the quards. He took up half of my bed sadly. Suddenly I heard Ren at my door!
I opened the door and he said, "The princess wants to marry me".
I began to laugh loudly and said, " You?"
"Yes", he said sad.
" Are you going to marry her?", I asked him making sure he couldn't see Widow.
"Of course not. I'll most likely die young and plus I don't love anyone", he said suddenly hearing Widows growl.
" What do you have in there?", he asked.
"Nothing", I said.
He opened my door forcefully to see Widow on my bed looking at him.
" Anora what is that?", he asked nervously.
"His name is Widow. His kind were used in the old war. He won't hurt you I promise", I said trying to calm him down.
" North is going to be so mad", he said.
"Well I don't really care", I said laying on my bed with Widow, " North can't always control me".
"He just cares for you", Ren said finally calm.
" Well that's his problem ", i said rolling my eyes.
" Is it true you'll kill anyone you want", he asked me.
I thought for a second and said, "if I need to I will".
" Even me?", he asked me and then I nodded.
"Say if you were got really hurt and you were never the same and always in pain. I would kill you to end your suffering", I told him petting Widow on the head.
" Understandable", he said nodding his head.
"How is your eye?", I asked not looking at him.
" It's fine sometimes it hurt", he sighed, "I'll be leaving now".
" Okay", I said.
I layed down and feel asleep thinking about what I would teach the princess tomorrow.
