Ember and Zyriel spent the rest of the day looking for a place to stay after they got their bands.  These bands will serve as their chains as long as the project goes on.

These bands give a limit of how far they can be from each other.  They can also serve as each other's gps.

Both of them decided to stay in a cabin near the forest below the valley.  Tomorrow will be the official first day on this project.

Zyriel entered the room beside the one Ember occupied.  The clock is ticking, sand is falling.  And before time would run out, he'll make sure to lead her back to the light.

...

Early morning and the sun haven't showed up yet.  Zyriel knocked on Ember's door hoping that she would wake up.  He wants to show her something.

After a few minutes, Ember surprisingly opened the just as Zyriel was about to knock.  The force acted upon them and it all happened fast.

Tok.

The supposedly knock landed on her head and both of them are shocked.  Well, the shock is more on her side considering that she just woke up and is still trying to get shit together.

"Lady Ember. I am so sorry. I did not know that you were gonna open the door," he apologized while trying hard not to give out a laugh or a smile.

Ember giggled and soon ended up laughing hard.  She even wiped her eyes of tears that forced their way out of her eyes for laughing too much.

"I did not expect to be totally waken up that way.  Hahaha, its okay.  Good morning Zyriel,"she greeted with a delighted smile.

Zyriel let out his laugh for a few moments before telling her that they are going out to see something.  He gave her a white hoodie and she wore it above her black dress (all her clothes are black dresses) before they went out.  They had a walk inside the forest and hiked up the valley hill to wait for the sun.

They both sat down at the very top surrounded by hundreds-no, thousands of flowers with different colors, shapes, and sizes. A mild scent of mixed flowers fills the air and tickles their sense of smell as the gentle morning wind blows.

After a few moments, the sky started to change color.  The darkness started to fade as the sun slowly rises, gracing people with light and warmth.
She had never seen something this breathtaking  before...

"It's...it's so pretty.  I-I've never seen the sunrise before," she uttered.  "The only source of light down in hell are the flowing lavas, the giants flames... its...its never peaceful down there."

She gave out a small smile as she finished her statement.  Zyriel gave her a  smile before giving her a bear hug.

"In this project, I can help you out.  But it can only happen if YOU want to make it happen.  You can choose not to go back there if you could make it back."

She knows what he's talking about.  He wants to lead her back to the light.  He wants her to stop being a demon.
But Ember? She's still not sure about what she wants to happen.  And she just can't bring herself to ask him her questions.

She stayed silent and Zyriel can sense that she doesn't know yet.  He let go of the hug and gave a smile.  An assuring one.

"Don't worry.  I'm sure everything will be fine sooner or later," he assures her.  "Why don't we spend this day on the human realm? I'm sure that that would make it more adventurous and exciting than staying here," he proposed.

Ember's eyes twinkled with excitement and curiosity.

"Is that true? We can go there? Oh I've never been there before," she mumbles as she started to move around as her adrenaline rises.

"Woah, easy there little lady," he placed his hands on her shoulders.  "Yes we can go there... but it still depends on the committee.  So let's go there now and hope that luck will be on our side."

They went down the hill and went back to the appointment building.  Just like before, eyes were upon her.  She stayed behind Zyriel tailing him wherever he goes.  He looked back at her and gave her an assuring smile.  She can almost hear him say 'hey, its okay'.

They went to the lift and went straight to the highest floor, the 50th.  One word to describe, wide.  The 50th floor is a whole room itself with the elevator at the corner.  The walls are white, the floor is grey.  The whole right side is a glass panel that let's her see the valley.  It looks more beautiful than when she was looking at it on the 10th floor yesterday.

She was halfway near the glass when an unfamiliar male voice cleared his throat.  She abruptly turned around and froze once she saw where the voice came from.  Its not Zyriel.  Firstly because he doesn't look friendly and easy to approach.  He's sitting on a table and looks very serious, very stern.  His gaze seems to pierce right through her.
Reading into her mind with her being able to do something to stop it.

She was trying her hard to hold his gaze with her forest green orbs when she heard Zyriel talk.

"Stop that, Uno.  You're scaring her."

The guy that Zyriel called "Uno" shifted his gaze between the two of them.

"What brings you here eighty-two million, five hundred eighteen thousand, nine hundred fifty-three? And what should I stop? I'm not even doing anything," the guy placed both of his arms above the table letting her see his code bracelet.

00000001

So that's why he calls that guy Uno...

Zyriel audibly laughed which the 'almost' empty room echoed. Heck, he even started holding his stomach as if its hurting because of laughing too much.  He ended his laughing by wiping the side of his eyes and taking a sigh.  He then smiled and stared at 'Uno'.

"You surely memorized my code, Safiel. But I'm sure I told you to call me by my name," this time he turned serious.  "We're going to the human realm."
