The guy's name was Safiel and his code is number one. He once again shifted his gaze between the two of them.

"And why would you want to go there, Zyriel?" He leaned forward and intertwined his hands together above the table.

Instead of answering immediately, Zyriel walked towards the still frozen Ember and lead her towards the table. He made her sit down on a chair in front of Safiel's table before he himself sat on the other one.

"Its part of the project," is his only answer.

The two guys had a staring contest and Ember just sat there watching them. After a few moments, Safiel started talking without tearing his gaze away.

"For that I would have to talk to five million, one hundred thirty-two thousand, five hundred eighteen,-" with that statement, Zyriel nodded and interrupted.

"Sure, I'll just stay on the other side of the room-"

"Alone," Safriel continued. "And I would have to think it thoroughly before I can decide. "

Zyriel seemed to be taken aback by his decision.

"But Uno-"

"No buts, eighty-two million, five hundred eighteen thousand-"

"We get it. I'll talk to you," Ember intervened.

Man, this guy would really call you by your whole code number when you call him Uno. Or so she think since its what she observed.

Zyriel nearly laughed but decided to hold it in considering how serious the current situation is. He's still worried about Ember talking to Uno. He looked at Ember as if asking if she will be alright and she gave him an assuring smile.

Zyriel sighed before standing up. Uno is very authoritative. What he says, his decisions, it should be followed.
He shifted his gaze between Safriel and Ember before he started to walk towards the elevator. He's pretty sure the 50th button will be gone for a while.

He pressed button to the ground floor and went outside the building. He has to divert his attention from what those two will be talking about for now.

Ember is still staring at the elevator when she once again heard a throat clearing.

She looked at him and asked, "What is it, Safiel?"

"As far as I can remember, I did not tell you to call me by my name. Call me Uno," he replied

"I would've wanted to call you that but then you will call me by my whole code number. That would take too much time and I personally don't like being called that way," she retorted.

Safiel chuckled for a few seconds before his expression returned to being serious. He still has the strong gaze that he had ever since earlier.

"I'm sure that guy haven't told you anything yet," he stated earning curiosity from Ember.

"Told me what?"

"I'll tell you everything. And you will have to listen. No interruptions, no questions. I won't answer your inquiries and you doing so will only stop me from talking. Do you understand?"

Ember was silent. Its hard for her not to ask anything especially when she's curious. She then remembered that she haven't asked Zyriel a single question about this project and she just have to do the same here. She replied with a nod.

"I will have to start at the very beginning. And since I changed my mind, you can ask questions but only if I say so. Understood?"

Ember is filled with excitement and worry. Finally, she can know everything. She felt like she swallowed her own voice and the only thing she can do is nod.

"You're too obedient to be considered as a demon. But that doesn't matter anymore. Let's start," Ember shifted uncomfortably as Safiel stared at her more intently. But then she tried her best to remain calm.

"Heaven and hell never had a feud between them. In fact, the two separate realms are working together in harmony to keep things in balance. They are the yin and yang of all the realms. There can't be pure goodness and evil is inevitable," he paused as if testing her if she would ask anything.

Ember did not say any word. She just learned that what she knew was wrong and there is nothing to ask about that. When he sensed that she won't say anything, he continued.

"The realms are created by The Sphere. The Sphere also created the ones that will lead the two superior realms. Acme for the heavens, and Nadir for hell. Nobody have never seen these three. Not even the higher angels," he stood up and went to a small cupboard beside the elevator. Ember did not see that there earlier.

Safiel took out two cups inside the cupboard. He then placed them above his table before going back to his seat. He took out a jar of sugar cubes from the cabinet of his table and placed it beside the cups.

"Help yourself," he offered.

Ember nodded and pulled a cup near her on the table. The brown liquid inside the cup is still steaming letting her smell what it is.

Chocolate. Hot chocolate, her favorite. She brought the cup near her lips as she gently blows on the drink.
She took a small sip before abruptly placing the cup back to table nearly spilling its hot contents.

She expected it to be hot. What she did not expect is that it wasn't even slightly sweet. She stared at the cup and tried to act as if nothing happened. She took a glance at Safiel who seems to snap his self control and started bursting into laughter. He even started tapping the table with his palms causing the liquids move inside the cup. Him laughing is another unexpected thing. She just stared at him.

Safiel started calming down and the waves of his laughter have faded. He then gave out a sigh as if trying to calm himself more. He went back staring at her then smiled.

"That's all natural, that cannot be an act," he chuckled once more. "Man, you're hilariously clumsy."

"What do you mean act?" She wasn't able to hold herself from asking, then she remembered what he said earlier.
Oh no...
Is he gonna stop talking..?
