The One and Only

Chapter 10

                                          Cameron's Point Of View

          She lays there in my arms so sweetly. I told her he truth about me and who I am. I want to protect her as much as I can.. I would die for her.  I do not want to let her out of my sight ever again. She doesn't care who I am and what I've become. She only cares about me.. She should be scared of me but yet she stays. I look at her as she sleeps and every once in a while, her lips curl into a little smile. Her soft breathing is comforting. I can't believe I've found her. Tomorrow, I have to bring her to my family.. I have to tell them who she is and if I told them that she's the last remaining Bell witch, they will accept her. I have to prove it to them. Maybe Brandi could teach her some spells She learned from her friend and mother figure who was a Bell Witch. I pull Kyleigh closer to me and soon, our two bodies are touching. She moves a little but she reachs for my hand. I grab her and and interlace my fingures into hers. My heart speeds up and I lay my head down. I sigh and hold her.

         I look at the clock and it reads 5:00 AM. I get up slowly, not trying to wake her which was a success. I walk out slowly and quietly to the kitchen. Josh is up already making coffee. He looks at me then at the coffee pot. I take a seat at the table. I do not think he likes me all that much... "How's Kyleigh?" He asks. He must know that I was in her room. I sigh and say "She's good. She's still sleeping." He nods and hands me a cup of coffee. I pick up the mug and look at it. He says "Oh sorry... Do Vampires drink coffee?" I stop what I'm doing and I look at him "What? How do you know what I am?" He looks at me "Oh.. I do not just hunt for animals... I hunt for Vampires and Werewolves too." My heart just stops. "I know you're the one who hurt Kyleigh.. You're not going any where with her. She was doing fine before you came along.." He says. "Stop it!" Kyleigh yells.. I turn to see her standing there staring at Josh. "Just stop it... " She says and Josh takes a sip of his coffee then he says "Why? you're not going with this... thing , are you?" she crosses her arms and nods "Yes I am... He has a name." She looks at me and says "You ready?" I nod and get up. I walk to her and I hear something. I turn around and I see a wooden stake fly at me. It was all like slow motion. Kyleigh yells and stands in front of me. My eyes widen when I see the stake stop and turn around. It plunges into Josh's chest so hard that it went in the front and out the back, leaving a huge hole in his chest. Kyleigh looks at Josh and her eyes widen "I killed him..." She says softly. "I killed him.." She says again. She turns to me and says "I killed him, Cam.. I KILLED him!!" She starts panicking and I grab her. "Shh.. It's okay... He would have killed me then you if you hadn't.." I say. She cries into my chest and I hold her.

      Once she calms down, I walk her out side. I turn to her and say "Do you trust me?" She looks at me oddly and then slowly nods. I smile and pick her up bridal style. "Good. Now, hold on tight." Her arms go around my neck and she holds on for dear life. My feet starts pounding on the ground and trees fly past. Kyleigh yelps a little but I keep running. I need to get her to the building where my family lives. Brandi needs to meet the last witch.

     We get there and I put Kyleigh down. "Oh wow... Is that one of your 'supernatural' powers? Running fast?" she asks. I nod and Gregor walks out. He stops and glares at Kyleigh. "It's alright, Gregor... She's with me..She won't harm you" I say. "Hey Greg-" Tess says but stops. She looks at Kyleigh and looks at me "A human?!" Then Maliek comes out. "Not Necessarily... She's half human and Half Bell Witch.." Kyleigh snaps me a look and says "A what?" I sigh. I didn't tell her. I meant to but Noel and Urik came after us. I look at Brandi and she seems like she doesn't believe me. "Just let us inside and I will explain." They let us in. Alright... I have to throw a knife I Kyleigh again... I turn to Kyleigh "Trust me.. Follow my lead.." I say. She nods and I look at all four of them. I take out my pocket knife and open it. "They say that no one can stop this knife but a Bell witch, right? " They all nod. I throw the knife at Kyleigh just as I did in the motel room and she stops it again. Brandi walks up to her and looks at Kyleigh. "Oh my god.." She mutters "You look just like her.." Kyleigh looks at her then me. I shrug. I do not know what she was talking about. I knew she had a friend but I never knew what she looked like. She was killed but Uriks people. Brandi looks at me "She looks like Trinity... The Bell Witch I was involved with..." She looks at Kyleigh again and Kyleigh looks at her. "Brandi, I want you to teach her how to do a couple of spells.... I know you know some from Trinity.." I say. Brandi nods and leads Kyleigh out of the room we are in. Gregor turns to me with his face all red "Why would you bring a human here?!" I sigh "She's not just a human... I tried to compel her but it didn't work.. It just paralyzed her but she was aware.." "oh.. someone's in trouble.." Tess says. "shut up, Tess.... This has nothing to do with you!" I look at her and she hisses and goes to charge at me but Maliek holds her back. I roll my eyes at her and look at Gregor "Gregor... Just please... give her a chance... I believe she's the one and only witch of her kind... We need to protect her.... please..?" Maliek says "He's in love..." "With that Human ?!" Gregor yells and I back up. "She's. Not. Only. A. Human!" I say. It's not use... I just give up. I turn around and walk out. Hopefully Brandi treats her well... She knows when it is a Bell Witch... I walk around the town just as I did when I got into this whole mess. Hopefully it'll cool me off..
