A few days passed since the incident with Drake, and now Allie and Bristol were seen spending most of their time together. Roxie was very proud of her best friend, as she managed to find someone special, just like Roxie knew she would.

It wasn't until the final week of that month, the week before Allie was supposed to start college at Pawford University, that she learned something surprising.

Allie was at the doctor's office for a quick checkup to make sure she would be good to go for college, when the doctor noticed something odd, and questioned Allie about it.

"What do you mean something's odd? I feel fine!" Allie was suspicious of the doctor's claims.

"It's just that...well...it's hard to explain with just my words. Hold on."

The doctor left the room, eventually coming back with a few extra tools. A quick test showed Allie exactly what the doctor meant.

"N-No way...but how...?" Allie gasped, staring at the test results in shock.

"Well, it seems you've been spending a lot of time with Bristol. That's my best guess as to why it happened." the doctor said to Allie. "You'd better go home and tell him the big news now that you know. I'd also recommend staying home and taking your college classes through the internet, rather than traveling all the way to campus."

Allie went home and found Bristol watching TV in the living room. He was so focused on his show that he barely noticed her at first, until she stepped closer and got his attention.

"What's up Allie?"

"Bristol, I..." Allie hesitated nervously. "I have big news..."

"What is it? You can tell me anything."

"Bristol...I'm..."

Allie stopped herself before she said it. Revealing the secret to Bristol was much more difficult than she first thought, but she eventually continued anyway.

"Bristol, I'm pregnant...and I think the baby is yours..."

Bristol's jaw dropped. He was so overwhelmed with surprise that he could barely move or speak. After awhile he managed to regain his composure, though.

"Really...? Y-You're not just joking with me, are you?" Bristol asked Allie.

"No, I'm not just joking. The doctor told me everything, and he gave me these test results to show you, just in case you need proof."

Allie showed Bristol the test results, and he just about broke down into tears from his excitement and joy.

"Allie...you..." Bristol sniffled. "You have no idea how happy this makes me!"

"Wait...what? You wanted this all along?" Allie was a bit confused.

"Ever since I realized I love you..." Bristol admitted, wiping his tears away. "This is perfect! I...I can't wait!"

"Well, I'm glad this makes you happy, Bristol. I wasn't sure if it would or not, which is why I kinda hesitated." Allie smiled. "So, what are you hoping for? A boy or a girl?"

"Allie, either one would be perfect. Either a boy or a girl would be totally fine with me."

9 months later, after the baby arrives

9 months passed and Allie just got home with the new baby. It was a precious boy, with Allie's gray fur and bright green eyes.

"He's so adorable! I bet he'll grow up to be just like you, Allie." Bristol told Allie as they went inside the house.

"You think so?" Allie asked back.

"Absolutely. I can see it now: when he gets into high school, he'll become a crime-fighting detective just like you!" Bristol replied. Allie giggled.

"We'll see about that."

"And...what about his name? We were so caught up gushing over how cute he was that we forgot to name him!" Bristol reminded Allie.

"Oh, right! Good thing you reminded me, because I completely blanked on that!"

Allie looked down at the kitten in her arms, who was sleeping peacefully.

"I think his name should be Xavier. What do you think, Bristol?"

"It's perfect. I love it." Bristol smiled.

"Perfect."
