Allie stayed at the park talking with Drake and Jason until it got late. Jason went home after a while, and Max left too. Drake stayed behind, though.
"Want me to walk you home?" he offered Allie.
"Oh, sure." Allie accepted.
As Drake and Allie walked back to Allie's house, Allie saw Bristol waiting at her front door. She immediately went to see him.
"Bristol? What are you doing here?" Allie aked him.
"Oh, there you are, Allie! I was wondering why you wouldn't answer the door!" Bristol smiled. He looked at Drake in confusion. "Who is this?"
"Oh, this is Drake. I met him at the park earlier, and he offered to walk me home." Allie explained. She looked at Drake. "Drake, this is Bristol. He's my friend."
"Nice to meet you, sir." Drake smiled at Bristol, reaching forward and shaking his paw.
"Nice to meet you, too."
"Anyway, I should get going. I'll see you guys later!" Drake said before he walked away.
"Bye Drake!" Allie called to him. "So, Bristol, why are you here? Do you need something?"
"Actually, yes...I-I wanted to know if you'd like to...I dunno...go out for dinner, or something..." Bristol told Allie. He was a little awkward in his speech, but only because he was so nervous. "I-I mean, if you don't want to-"
"I'd love to." Allie interrupted Bristol. "Hang on. Let me go get changed real quick, and I'll be right back out!"
Allie rushed inside and went upstairs to find the perfect dress to wear out to dinner. She opened her closet and looked around, eventually finding a light blue dress with polka dots and a matching bow and necklace to go with it. She put the dress on and looked at herself in the mirror, very happy with how the dress looked on her.

"It's perfect. I can't wait for Bristol to see!"
Allie came back outside and met up with Bristol.
"What do you think of my dress?" Allie asked him.
"It's beautiful. I love it." Bristol told Allie. "Well, let's go. I heard about this great restaurant that just opened up not too long ago, and I wanted to give it a try. A lot of people online are saying the food there is really good."
"Awesome!"
Allie was excited. Not only was this her first date, but also her first date with one of her best friends. She knew Bristol must've been just as excited as she was.
~2 hours later~
After dinner at the restaurant, Allie and Bristol had taken a ride around town for fun, and they finally got back to Allie's house by the time the stars came out.
"I had a lot of fun tonight, Bristol. Thanks for taking me to that restaurant. It was fantastic." Allie smiled.
"No problem. I had fun tonight, too." Bristol replied. "So, I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"You bet!"
"Haha! Bye, Allie."
Allie waved as Bristol left, then she went inside to get changed out of her dress into something more casual. After she changed, Allie sat down on the couch in the living room and turned on the TV. As soon as her favorite show came on, Allie heard her phone beep, meaning that someone had just texted her.
"Oh, it's Jacob! I wonder what he wants at this time of night..." Allie said to herself as she replied to Jacob's text.

Jacob called Allie immediately after, very curious to know what she had to tell him.
"Hello?" Allie began as she answered the phone.
"What did you want to tell me, Allie?" Jacob asked her.
"About what you said earlier...I have made up my mind, and..." Allie continued, pausing slightly. "I'm sorry, Jacob. I think we would be better off if we stayed friends. I hope that's okay with you."
"Oh, yeah...I mean...I'm a little disappointed...but I'm not that disappointed. There's nothing I can do about it; it's your choice, not mine." Jacob replied. "I'm just glad I know how you feel now. So, is there anyone else you have your heart set on?"
"Actually...it's Bristol. He took me out to dinner, um, I just got home from that, actually, and...we had a lot of fun. I think he's the one."
"Well, congratulations, Allie. I'm glad we got that settled." Jacob replied. "Uh, listen, I have to go now, but I'll talk to you some other time, okay?"
"Sure thing, Jacob! Bye!" Allie agreed as the call ended.
Allie was glad that Jacob was able to understand how she felt, and that he was okay with just being friends. She was also happy she had been able to decide on a guy she wanted to be with.
But the image of Drake still lingered in her mind...
