Neytiri held a spout of laughter behind the palm of her hand at her mate's antics. Jake, who had decided it would be a good idea to try and teach the children how to play charades jumped around with one arm whacking at his head while the other scratched his armpit, sounds of 'ohoh' and 'ahah' mumbled past his lips. The children- who had no idea what a monkey was, only mimicked his movements. Which created a whole group of 'monkeys' that gained much attention from many of the surrounding clan members.

"What animal is that?" Neytiri managed to gain her bearings, with a wide smile as Jake turned to her with his lips comically pursed. "A monkey."

"Mon-keey? I do not know of that animal." The word was foreign and even the shadowing antics that her beloved was pulling left her clueless. "It's an animal from where I came from. It resembles a prolemuris. Smaller though, less blue a whole lot less, only having two arms, and a tail.." Neytiri tilted her head, the animal- this 'monkey' sounded strange. "They make those sounds? Ohoh! Ahah!" Jake couldn't help but chuckle- never had heard in all these months his mate, the elegant and headstrong Neytiri make the worst impression of a monkey call. "No like this, ooh-ooh aah-aah!" And the children followed.

Despite the obscene-scene that was taking place, the huntress couldn't help the proud smile that graced her face. Jake, fearless and caring (a bit dumb) would make the perfect father just as he made the perfect mate.

"Where are we going?" Sequoia questioned the change in course, Fa'Meuia merely glanced over his shoulder at her with a cheeky glint in his eyes. "I want to show you something." Now, the healer in training was not keen on surprises especially if it was to possibly cause harm to her or anyone else. "I do not like the unknown, hunter." Fa'Meuia had never been called by his title before let only by his student- it was odd almost detached sounding. "I promise it is not bad- it might be beneficial to you." Still he did not dwell on it as he pushed aside a large leaf, holding onto until Sequoia passed then did he let go. "You do not need to hold the plants for me- I can very well push them away."

"I know." Sequoia's eyes widen ever so slightly. She knew what she did of the hunter- his skills were top-notch, his ability to teach was just as good as any docile teacher, he had a kind air around him that attracted many friends to his side, his looks... well, he was definitely charming but the one thing she did not know was that he had some ability to speak english. "You never told me you could speak the language of the sky people." Fa'Meuia assessed her curiously with his own curiosity of her curious statement. "I do- only little though. I understand most but cannot speak well." His voice while speaking his native tongue was like honey- smooth and sweet to the ears but his voice bending to the foreign syllables and molding around different shifts in sounds was more like a rawhide drum (the type her people would use during ceremonial gatherings or a pow-wow). Deep within the chest did he mold each word, heavily accented but pleasing to the senses.

"Who taught you?" Ignoring the fact that she had internally 'stripped' away at his voice like peeling an onion, comparing the guttural consonants of a trickling tickle of the ears to a pounding of the heart. "Long ago when the sky people first came- a school was given. Most of us at the time were just approaching adolescence and saw no harm in attending. I didn't like it to much- none of us did. But I did enjoy learning a new language, or animal, or plant. On the days the school was open, after our teachings I would race back home and teach my parents of what I learned that day. Be it a word like 'apple' or an animal like 'dog'." Sequoia knew of the school, the one Dr. Grace Augustine worked hard to create and the tragedy that befell upon it's grounds. "How did they react when seeing your learning from the enemy?" Fa'Meuia stared thoughtfully at his student who adverted her eyes to the side, watching a small bug fly by.
