Na'vi

---------------------------------------------------

A week later

It was amazing how fast the na'vi worked. Diligent and motivated- the desolate area that was chosen to be the Omaticaya's new home was now bustling with the clans daily activities. Pa'li riding, shooting practice, forging for nearby medicinal herbs and fruits, hunting, pottery, weaving, and bow making. Olivia- was doing none of that. Instead, she found herself sun bathing on a sleek rock that sat at the edge of a large water pool (currently used for cooling off during the heat of the day and fishing) with Norm on her left and Kahiau standing at the waters edge with a net in hand.

"Did you hear? Apparently, tomorrow Jake is assigning teachers to the new up-and-coming students to help them get back on course for Iknimaya." Olivia glanced towards Norm who was staring off to his right- where a group of na'vi women were conversing. "Who's the lucky lady?"

Embarrassed, the lanky man adverted his attention towards the water with pursed lips. "Wow the water is just so- water like! Look at it sway-" Olivia rolled her eyes before slinging her arm around Norms neck. "Cough it up, nerd. I saw you giving that group of woman googly eyes- tell me, which one has caught your fancy?" It was rather enjoyable watching the anthropologist squirm much like a school boy gathering up the courage to give his crush a Valentine's day card. "I- it's not like I like her- I barely even know her! It's just.. She's pretty-"

"Just pretty?" Kahiau called over his shoulder with a raised brow, his hands working fast to pull the edge of the net in. "Well no- she's- more like- a lot like- GAH! I don't know- she's probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and I know she wouldn't dare give me the time of day-" Olivia jerked away from the boisterous blabbering that Norm was currently spewing, even taking the measures of sticking her fingers in her ears to check if they were bleeding. "Shh! If you talk any louder the whole clan might think a threat is near." Whatever the man was going to say next died down in his throat and with a sigh did he gesture towards a particular figure who sat between two other females. Due to the distance, Olivia couldn't quite see what she looked like (in the face) but what she could pick out was the lithe body clothed in a white bandeau top and matching loincloth. "What's her name?"

"I have no clue."

Olivia pondered for a bit until a brilliant idea splashed over her mind like rain. "Wait here." The female stood up from the rock slab and didn't make it two steps before Norm caught on to what she was doing. "Where are you going- please, for the love of Eywa you better not be doing what I think you are doing." Of course she was.

"I'm just making acquaintances with some of the clan- is that so bad?"

"That is exactly what you aren't about to do-"

Olivia waved her hand in mock farewell as she strutted over to the group. Kahiau tried to hide his laughter but with Norm basically squawking like a headless bird- the man just could not resist.

---

Olivia approached the group with a simple greeting- a hand to her forehead and the traditional 'I see you'. The two that sat on the sides of the middle glanced at each other while the one Norm seemed to fancy merely smiled before reciprocating the gesture. "You are one of the sky people who chose to stay?"

"I am. My name is Olivia, I noticed that most of the people I hang around are males- so I thought seeking out some female companions would be nice." The middle woman beamed at the thought while the other two couldn't help but laugh. "Men are difficult to be around- always gruff and putting on a show." The one on the right, shouldered her middle confidant who only waved her off. "Like a syaksyuk. Puffing their chests and strutting." The one on the left sucked in a large breath of air, patted her stomach, then began walking with her arms arched like a body builder. The other two laughed at the antics while Olivia snorted at how good she was at imitating their male counterpart. And oddly enough, it was the exact motions of human men too. "Hush the both of you." And even though she tried to be stern, the middle woman just couldn't break her sweet smile enough to be serious.
