Six months later**

It was now March. Things had been going well with Colt and his pack but the last few weeks Colt had been distancing himself.  I was introduced to his parents who I really liked.

We hadn't seen or heard anything from Damon's pack to my relief. It saddened me everyday not being able to talk to my family. They must be worried but I have no choice.

Colt was to take position as Alpha tomorrow so the pack decided to throw a party. We were out by the lake with a huge bonfire. Wolves were drinking and letting loose. Some were making out, some were dancing to the music and some were swimming.

Emma had stayed behind to look after Kali seeing as how this wasn't for children and Emma had no interest in it. Win win for me.

I was sitting on a log with a cup in my hand just observing the others. I wasn't never much of a drinker but I didn't want to be a social outcast neither.  Plus, whatever stuff the wolves had to drink to be intoxicated was severely strong and my human side couldn't handle it. A small amount would work.

Colt came up behind me. "BOO!"

I jumped and threw my cup in the process and spilled it on the ground.

"Dammit Colt! Why do you have to always scare me?"

"Because it's fum."

"Fum? I think you meant fun. How drunk are you?"

"Not hardly. Just tipsy." He slurred.

"Mhm, sure you are." I raised an eyebrow.

"Cmon, you need another drink."

He grabbed my hand and led me over near the fire where the keg was set up to get me something to drink. He handed me a cup.

"You look hot." He eyed me over from head to toe. His eyes full of lust.

"Uh thank you."  I sipped the alcohol. It burned my throat. This stuff made real moonshine look like it was for babies.

"No, I mean like really hot." He leaned in as he said it and pulled me closer to him.

I'm starting to think he was hammered. He groped my breasts and smashed his lips to mine. He smelled like alcohol. My mind was racing and my heartbeat picked up.

Not because I was turned on but the forcefulness of his actions brought back bad memories. It was a turn off if anything else. Now was not the time to jump into bed. I put my hand on his chest and pushed him away.

"Colt you're drunk." I calmly stated.

"Nahhh..Why wont you kiss me?" He whispered.

"Because you're intoxicated and I'm not into that."

He leaned back to his full height and anger flashed across his face.

"Fine! Have it your way. I've been patient and I have waited on you for 6 months. You won't complete the mating bond and let me mark you. Im going to be Alpha tomorrow and I need a Luna. I need someone who puts the pack before herself!"

His words hurt but I knew I hadn't given him what he wanted and I didn't know if I could.  He turned and stormed away.

I was left standing by myself as other pack members heard the conversation and were staring at me.  Sighing, I turned to head back to the house and I saw none other than that tall brunette come my way.

"Ivy." I folded my arms and narrowed my eyes.

Her and her two lackeys stopped in front of me. I came to know them as Tiffany and  Dayna.
