Marinette's POV:
I transformed into ladybug and jumped out of my balcony. I jumped from roof to roof as the wind blew through my signature pigtails and my tears flying in the cool breeze. I finally reached the perfect destination, the Eiffel tower at night was the most beautiful sight. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder as I flinched grabbing the figure's arm  twisting it behind his back.
"A little harsh don't you think m'lady?" Chat smirked.

Chat Noir's POV:
I finally understood why she said that she failed me. She was ladybug the whole time! I have never actually been happier than right now. But I will never be able to reveal my identity to her. She'll hate me even more! Anyway she giggled and apologised to me after helping me up.
"Hey kitty, what's up?"
"Well there's the sky, the moon, the stars and also-"
"Okay I didn't mean it literally silly kitty..."
"Anyway what's up with you m'lady, it's my turn to patrol tonight so why are you here?"
"Well, there's this certain boy I've had a crush on since well the beginning of high school and well, he never sees me the way I see him and well I keep chickening out when I try to confess so I was thinking about moving on, but then this super sweet boy started to visit me and eventually fell for him. Unfortunately, when I tried to ask him for advice, he- h-he left m-me. You should have seen the look on his face, he looked as if he'd been slapped and he used my full name instead of the cheesy nicknames he usually gave me, oh how I miss them. Oh how I miss him..." She sobbed. My heart ripped at that moment. She was gonna move on from me but then I made her fall for me, again. I finally got the guts to tell her the truth,
"M'lady I am-"
"Sorry Chat I have to go, my parents would probably get worried but thanks for the advice, bye" she whispered before kissing my cheek and yo-yo-ing off home.

Mari's POV:
"Marinette we have something important to tell you..." Sabine declared nervously
"What is it maman?"
" Well how do I say this? You're not ours..." she looked down at her feet in shame.
"W-what do you mean n-not yours?" I gulped.
"Y-you're a-adopted Marinette. Your real parents are d-dead..." Maman stammered. I ran upstairs and slammed the door running up to my balcony and locking the door.
