The next day, Sunset Shimmer and her friend, Twilight Sparkle, were taking a walk in the local park with Twilight's dog, Spike. They were still both in shock and denial about what they heard yesterday, so today, Starlight had suggested they take a little stroll together; she figured that some fresh air and a stroll was just what they needed. "I can't belive this is really happening," Twilight spoke up at some point. "I've heard about different types of cancer and what they could do to you, but I never thought that it could happen to one of us."

"True," agreed Sunset. "Then again, these things come when you least expect it, so sometimes you have to be on your guard. Otherwise, when it does get at you, you won't be lucky."

Twilight couldn't help but agree with her. Ever since she became an Equestria Girl after being free of Midnight Sparkle's grasp back at Camp Everfree, she had been learning a lot from her friends and had been storing everything she heard in the back of her mind. As she thought about what Sunset told her, a faint but clear sobbing sound caught her attention. She snapped her head in that direction, causing Spike to notice. "Everything okay, Twilight?" he asked.

At this point, Sunset couldn't help but notice as well. "What's going on?" she asked.

"I don't know," Twilight replied. "But for some reason, I hear crying."

Fishing out a pair of binoculars out of her backpack, she looked through them. A little later, she spotted someone sitting near a lake which happened to be in the middle of the park. Upon coming closer to the person, they soon realized that it was just a young girl with dark green hair that reached down to the middle of her back. She had on a sweater with light and a little dark brown stripes, light blue jeans, and a pair of comfy gray flay shoes. Her eyes were as green as Applejack's, and they were filed with tears. It didn't take them long to recognize her. "Wallflower Blush?" Sunset asked, gently touching her shoulder. "Is it really you?"

Upon hearing her name, Wallflower stopped crying and slowly turned in Sunset's direction. "Wh-who are you two?" she asked, feeling a little frightened.

"Don't you remember us?" Sunset asked, pointing to herself and Twilight. "We're Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle." Twilight nodded in agreement.

Wallflower gazed at them steadily, wondering if they were lying or not. However, the smiles on both their faces and the familiar looks in their eyes convinced her. A smile crossed her face. "Wow!" she laughed happily as she and Sunset hugged for the first time in a long while. Twilight smiled and hugged as well, happy to see her again. "What brings you here?" she asked once they both settled down.

"Just looking for a new life," Wallflower answered. "I've still been learning from my past mistakes, but every time I ask someone if they needed any help with their garden and whatnot, they look at me like they don't trust me and just chase me away with whatever their holding as if I'm a monster. So I've come here, hoping that I could be trusted."

Both Twilight and Sunset knew what she was talking about. A long while ago, Wallflower had stolen Sunset's memories from Twilight and the rest of her friends-Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Spike, and even the fun-loving Pinkie Pie-with an acient memory stone just so she could teach her a lesson. Back then, this was because she loved working with plants and was always invisible towards everyone. But she took it too far when she tried to erase all of the other girls' memories three days later. Sunset had taken the bullet instead, making the others, who were somewhat being distrustful of her at the time thanks to the stone's effets, to see that she was a trustworthy friend after all. After getting all of their memories back thanks to the Magic of Friendship, they happily made amends to their mistakes and had all been friends ever since.

"Well," Twilight said after some thinking, "you could come live with us. We'd love to have a garden helper-especially since our garden is covered with weeds at the moment."

"We'll make sure that you're safe with us," Sunset added. "We can not only show others that you've really changed for the better, but also teach you everything we know. You won't have to be sad and lonely anymore."

And for the first time since Sunset forgave her, Wallflower smiled the biggest smile she had ever smiled. "Thanks, guys," she said, eyes filing with happy tears. "That's...that's really thoughtful of you."

Twilight and Sunset smiled as they and Wallflower did another group hug, Spike nuzzling Wallflower's leg showing his own forgiveness. Somehow, they'll one day show everyone that Wallflower Blush had truly changed.
