Fluttershy, however, was worried about something else. "Now our town's completely devoid of any plant life," she said.

Wallflower looked around carefully before an idea came to her head. "Not quite," she said.

She slowly knelt down and placed both hands on the ground, fingers slowly digging into the earth, and closed her eyes in concentration. As her new geode, which had a flower on it, started to glow a beautiful green, her true potential was unlocked. Magical green swirls raced across the ground, causing the grass and flowers to grow again and the leaves to reappear on the trees. Even flowers reappeared in the flowerbeds and ivy grew in beautiful vines around the park fountain. Then, floating up to the sky, they formed a single flower before poofing in different directions.

Exhausted at using her powers for the very first time after a battle, Wallflower nonetheless managed to sit up, opening her eyes to see plant life back in town. She just had enough strength to smile before her eyes slipped close and she fell sideways-right into Twilight's side. "We knew you could do it," she muttered happily, wrapping an alicorn wing around her back.

Wallflower just smiled in her unconscious state just as Sunset came over, hand rubbing her shoulder. "We should probably take her home."

A few weeks later, Creech decided to visit Matt at the hospital. The doctors said that he'd be alright, but he ended up getting a head concussion for the next couple of weeks. Entering his room, she spotted him resting peacefully. A bandage was wrapped around his head, an IV needle was in his arm, and a heart monitor nearby was keeping an eye on his pulse; it was clear that he'd been out for sometime. Taking a seat next to the bed, Creech gently reached out a hand, wrapping it around Matt's limp hand. "Thanks a lot for what you did," she said. "You've been really helpful since we first met all those years ago. Speaking of which, I still remember that day. Heh, I personally think that El Chu was a little too excited at the time."

She chuckled at that one. "But still, we're really missing you. We got the house repaired and the town's back to normal. I really wish that you were here to see it all." She gently cupped his face in her hands before pulling her own face towards his. She kissed his forehead before resting her head on his chest.

Then, as if by magic a few minutes later, Matt stirred a little, making Creech notice. "That's it," she whispered, sitting up and griping his hand a little tighter. "Get those eyes open; gotta make sure that you're okay in there. And you can take your time; I'm in no hurry."

Matt groaned...and his eyes opened. Looking around in a daze, they eventually landed on Creech and a weak but small smile came to his face. Creech just leaned forward again and gently hugged Matt; there were no words for her to describe this moment. "At first I thought we'd lose you," she whispered.

Matt chuckled. "Can't get rid of me that easily; it'd probably take more than just a simple shockwave to take me down." His gaze then turned questioning. "Where's Simba?"

Creech sighed as sadness crept in her. She somehow had to tell him even though she didn't want to. "He died a few weeks ago; he had radiation poisoning from using the galuant along with the stones." That was all she needed to say before she started crying.

An arm wrapped around her. "I understand. It was like he knew what he was doing. Besides, he knew that sacrificing himself was the only way that the villains could be defeated. I'm just happy you guys are safe and that everything's the way it should be."

Creech raised her head up a little. "Really?" she asked.

Matt nodded. "Besides," he added, "both Simba and Nala are in a better place now. So there's no need for you to be too depressed about it."

That was all Creech needed to hear before leaning forward in a hug, Matt happily returning it before they eventually fell asleep.

A few weeks later, the whole gang, with Skipper and Wallflower as the newest members and Matt since he was finally home from the hospital after a few more checks, were all gathered in the living room, talking about whatever came to mind. Pinkie and Larry were trying their hands at juggling, only to fail every time. Junior laughed happily at their attempts, and Twilight glanced up once before shaking her head and going back to her book, chuckling. Dusty and Skipper were talking about moving on from the death of a loved one, the older hugging the younger at one point when he started to cry. All in all, everyone was just glad that everything was back to normal. "So, now what?" Wallflower asked at one point. Since what happened, people saw that she had truly changed for the better and we're now beginning to trust her more.

Sunset shrugged. "I really don't know," she said, looking to where Matt and Creech were happily talking to each other, "but we just have to remember that our work on Earth isn't quite over just yet."

And she was right in a way. They just didn't know what challenge was going to come at them next, but whatever the case was, they knew that not only would the memories of Simba, Nala, and their other dead friends be in their hearts and memories, but they also knew that they would have each other, no matter what.
