While all this was going on, Kovu and Wallflower were happily chatting while keeping track of the gang's progress. The two had become really good friends and had a lot to talk about. But the only problem they had was all the negative comments about Wallflower from the bad guys, like at this point. "Again?" Kovu groaned as Wallflower read yet another disencouraging message from them. "This has gotta be, like, the 100th time today. Do you always let them get to your head, girl?"
Wallflower nodded. "I don't know why," she said. "I just can't help it."
Kovu rolled his eyes. "Either way," he said as he tore all the paper comments up into little pieces and the them away, "you have to learn to ignore them. You can't let these types of phrases in your life. It's gonna get rougher later on."
While this was occurring, the portal shook as one by one, the groups got back with the stones they aquired. "Mission accomplished!" Twilight said happily, sharing a high-five with Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah, man," Lightning added as he and Tom shared a fist bump.
Looking around, Simba was confused; his wife was nowhere to be found. But when he saw his crying daughter, that's when it hit him: "Where's your mother?"
Kopa just walked forward sadly and placed his mother former necklace into Wallflower's hand. "I'm sorry," he said.
Creech's eyes went wide. "Wait. You don't mean to tell us she's...?" Her voice trailed off.
Kopa just nodded, tears gathering in his eyes. "And she said that she'd meet us here in a minute," he said.
Everyone was saddened. El Chu placed a comforting hand on Dusty's shoulder. Dusty just took one look behind him and just threw his arms around him, sobbing. El Chu just returned the contact as a few tears fell down his eyes. Robyn and Sheree shed a few silent tears, Robyn leaning on Sheree's side. Matt hugged a crying Creech tightly. Everyone in the room mourned Nala's death. She would never be among them again.

A few days later, Twilight and Kovu were working together building a galuant to hold the stones in. Their morning period had passed, though they missed Nala. Wallflower was looking out the window when Sheree came up. "Where do you think Nala is now?" Wallflower asked, looking up at Sheree. The girl had to think a while before answering. "I'm not sure, but honestly, I'm happy for it because I hope she's at peace now. She's really been through a lot."
Wallflower was silent before she smiled, Sheree smiling back while patting her shoulder. "Everything will be alright soon. You'll see," she assured her.
Ten minutes later, the galuant was completed. But at that moment, there was a loud knock at the door. "Let us in!" a loud voice yelled. "Give us the galuant and Wallflower! She's nothing but a worthless girl! They both belong to us!"
Knowing what that was, Creech told Wallflower to hide somewhere whole they heald back the enemy. Not needing to be told twice, Wallflower immediately ran upstairs and hid in the closet, holding the galuant tightly against her chest. Loud noises filed the house as the battle ragged on, scarring her. Suddenly, a loud explosion erupted, sending Wallflower flying to the back wall, her head hitting it hard. At that, everything went black.
