Soon, the girls met up with the Veggies, who had also hidden during the attack. They were happy to see that Wallflower was doing okay, and after sharing a reunited group hug, they waited for the evil spirits to come. In the meantime, Twilight gave Wallflower Nala's necklace. "I have a feeling Nala wanted you to have this," she said.

They didn't have long to wait as they saw them coming. "Let's win this right this time," Sunset said, fire starting to surround her, much to Wallflower's confusement.

At one moment, an evil spirit shot forward, somehow becoming more human the closer it got towards the group. Immeditately seeing it as a weakness to their advantage, Sunset leaped towards it and suddenly shot out fire from her outstretched hand, causing it to disappear. The spirits stopped where they were, shocked at what happened. The others were surprised as well. There was fire in the shapes of a bird-like tail, wings, and even a feather-head thing at the top. Sunset just smirked. "You guys seriously forgot that I'm also part phoenix," she said as she shot another flame at a spirit, disintegrating it.

At that, the small good guy band raced forwards, using their powers to try and hold back the enemy as best as they could. Wallflower was really surprised at what she was seeing. At one point, Twilight got knocked down by a spirit and had a sword pointed at her. She tried to use her telekinesis to push it back, but it was useless as the spirit pushed down harder. Knowing that she had to help, Wallflower took Nala's Hope necklace out of her pocket.

Just as Twilight was about to lose, a vine suddenly shot forward and grabbed the sword, throwing it away. And there stood Wallflower, brave and little vines sprouting out of her hands. She had just gained her newfound powers in the form of plant manipulation. Sunset, having seen everything, laughed. "We all knew she had potential!" she exclaimed.

Smirking, Wallflower grew another vine and used it to snag three more spirits and strangle them into nothingness. But despite that, they were still losing. Sunset and Twilight both got thrown away hard while the Veggies got smashed into a ruined wall next to them. "On the bright side, better a smash than a squash," Twilight commented, rubbing her alicorn wings.

Seemingly victorious, the spirits created a big fireball and threw it at the group, intending to fry them. In an act of sacrifice, Wallflower jumped in front of them and threw her hands in front of her just as the fireball hit. But at the same time, magic shot out of Nala's necklace, creating a white shockwave that sent Wallflower flying backwards into a building while wrapping around her, crashing into it on her back, immediately getting knocked out.

Alarmed at the state of their friend, the Veggies raced over, Junior getting there first just as Wallflower was regaining consciousness. "Oh gosh," she groaned, rubbing her head while hissing in pain. "That's gonna hurt for a month."

"Wallflower!" Junior exclaimed as he, Bob, and Larry raced over to her. "Are you alright?"

"Hurts," Wallflower said simply, trying to stop her dizziness.

Then, she looked up and saw the spirits gathering, along with every bad guy in their universe. Looking through their thoughts, Sunset theorized that they planned to use the galuant and the stones inside it to destroy their world and rebuilt it in their own vision. She told this to the others, which shocked Wallflower.

Junior was scared. "Oh, what are we gonna do?" he asked, burying his face into Wallflower's side.

This sight touched Wallflower's heart. Seeing that it was hopeless to even try to fight them, she had no choice but to resign to their fate. "Nothing," she replied, reaching up and gently cupping Junior's cheek in her hand. "There's just too many of them, and they know that we have the galuant and the stones."
