Midnight Moon

Chapter 9

"I thought that you didn't know Leah at all." My dad said
"I know, I just realised I had partial amnesia, ok." I replied everyone stared at me because even they didn't know I had partial amnesia they thought I didn't even know her from when I was born
"She's a monster, and when she's in her human form she looks exactly like me." I answer to their blank stares, Emma drops a plate and no one realises, until I go over and pick up the plate and try to put it back together, using super glue. It kept breaking so I stopped and threw the plate in the bin.
"Ok everyone let's go get ready for bed then in the morning we will take Stacie to Leah's secret lair." My mum said, I was confounded, and had so many questions, like, Why does Leah have a secret lair? Or How come I you never told me I had a twin? But they can answer them later.

"Why does it have to be a long track to get to Leah lair." I can hear Emma complaining behind me. I roll my eyes not being able to wait any longer to see Leah my long lost twin. As soon as we get there, I see a barbed wire fence, my mum says to stay back as she does a code into a keypad I walk in first, well technically I didn't walk in my mother pushed me in,
"Leah?" I call to darkness, I can hear a faint, Stacie what are you doing here? Then I see Leah appear out of the dark as a human,
"Mum, dad, Emma and Violet are outside." I say to get blank stare, shes probably wondering why I remember her now and not in the hospital when we were young. She tells me to bring in the rest of the family and as soon as mum walks in in she fires a blast at me. Knocking me to the floor with a big burn mark on my chest. I stare for a few seconds then lay down on the grass and let everything fade into darkness.....
