Midnight Moon

Chapter 18

I could hear their raspy voices as my senses came back, it's like they wanted to terminate me. I jutted awake with a start, and saw people grabbing syringes as they came closer, I leashed out and spat poison onto their syringes sending them to a pile of ash.
"S..she has poison in her teeth, guys." Pidge stammered
"No, no, no I..I can't. This isn't real." I murmured to my self, but Keith heard me.
"This is all real. And we will get through this together." Keith whispered, then he kissed me on the head and cradled me in his arms. I just thought of something. I pulled down the covers, and looked at my right ankle. There was a bandage as I expected there to be, with blood but only little drops. I tore off the bandage to reveal a completely healed wound. No bite marks from the snakes teeth.
"What the..." Keith stared at it, then jumped up ran out the door and somewhere else. I just shrugged wondering why he ran off so fast and tried to go back to sleep.

Five minutes later..

Or at least I did for five minutes until I was woken up by Luna shaking me.
"I'm up calm down." I said. She kept apologising while Shiro, Lance and everyone else kept asking questions about why the wound had cleared up? How come there was no bite mark? Why was I fine? Why did I turn blue?
"Shut up, cuz I have no idea." I kept telling them but they persisted and so did I.
When I was finally allowed to walk around again, I started to get the house ready to go to space. As Cloud would be on us in at least 5-6 hours. So as soon as I was up I walked around the outside surveying the condition the house was in. 3 hours later the house was out of its hole and sitting on flat ground so that only gave us 3 more hours to get into space. I thought of something and went everywhere on the outside of the house looking for a tracker. When I couldn't find anything I went back inside and got a drink of water.
"We have 2 hours and 30 mins to get into space before Cloud is upon us." I explained.
"Then we need to get into space in the next 30 mins." Shiro reasoned with us.
"I think the house has had some mighty fine adjustments to it and just needs to tested." Hunk said
"Right." I said "I'm giving you an hour to test them. If the first one is successful we head to space straight away." They nodded. I went to the kitchen to get a cookie when I saw a dark face.
It was Leah.
