Midnight Moon

Chapter 24

-FLASHBACK-
Sparks flying, dead bodies everywhere. I looked around for signs of weakness in the enemy. Nothing. I had Emma and The rest of my family except Leah who I told to hide. As more and more came I only had one option. Fight for glory. I fought my way through the army of the enemy to the source. I reached for my sword, whipped it out. And plunged it into the centre. A burst of light came swallowing everything in its path except my team. I hit the ground with a thud. Remembering nothing about that or what happened before the battle.
-END FLASHBACK-

I wake up with the flashback still swirling around my head. I rubbed it and moaned. When I finally opened my eyes. I saw Keith looking at me.
"You ok?" He asked
"I'm fine." I said moving the covers and getting up not realising that I had just had a massive flashback episode. So then I collapsed on the floor, again.
"Ok, maybe I'm not so fine after all." I said rubbing my shin. "That hurt and I'm weak." I sorta cried
"You'll be ok after a few days of either sitting in here or in another room." Keith said "also, no walking. So I'll carry you."
"Thanks." I was happy someone cared " can I change though?"
"Yea. Sorry." He said rubbing his head before running off to grab some clothes, while he did this I hoisted myself back up onto the bed.
"Here I finally found some of my clothes you might like as yours are all getting washed." Keith said
"Thanks" I said quietly.

When we closed the door to the infirmary Keith carried me al the way to his room and set me down on his bed. He went out to get food and as soon as I heard home coming back I slid off the bed onto the floor and started to slide around like a worm.
"What are you doing??" Keith asked
"I'm being a worm." I replied. He rolled his eyes and set my doughnut box down on the floor I picked one up and ate it. I had a realisation of something.
"Keith call everyone to the meeting room and carry me there please." I explained. He nodded and went over to the phone and called into the speakers and told everyone to meet in the meeting room. After that he picked me up and carried me there.

Once I was sitting in my chair, everyone started to arrive.
"I have some matters to discuss." I told them
"What matters Stacie??" Flame said
"Well... we aren't safe anywhere we go on earth or in space, Cloud can track us. We are never safe."
