Ch.1 The Demon Hunter

(Hey everyone this is my first time making a story like this. A few people have been eager to read this. It's either you know me in real life or from my ig acct gray_gram if not welcome. I hope you enjoy and I will be posting 1 chapter weekly if you want more comment saying so and I might post more a week. Now we shall start the story.)

"The village is under attack! Pull the...ahh!" Said a guard as he busted into flames.

"Captain down! Sound the alarm to warn the village. All guards charge the inferno banchies!"

(Inferno banchies, they are ghost/fire type monsters. Physical and magical attacks deal damage. Water attacks deal 2x average damage.)

As the citizens cleared the street and ran to safety as the guards were in deep battle.

Swordsman guards fought them head on as the archers and wizards supported the swordsmans and took out income banchies.

"Squad 3 go check if they came any other side of the village"

"Will do, Jack and anders were going to check the town!"

"Yes sir!" Both of them yelled out as they ran into town

They searched the town to see if any banchies went into town but no signs, so they met back up at town square.

"Captain looks clear!"

"Something doesn't feel right?"

Four banchies come out of an ally and one shoots a fireball hurtling towards jack.

"Watch out!" The captain yelled as he pushes Jack out of the way but he burst into flames and turns to ash.

"C-Captain!" Jack yells as he stairs shocked at the pile of ash next to him

"Jack we need to get out of here" said Anders and he shoots a lightning bolt at a banchie and kills it.

Jack looks up at Anders "w...w... what out!" He yelled out as Anders disintegrate in from of Jack's eyes.

"I can't escape!" Jack said with a hopeless tone and look of disappear as three banchies surrounded him.

Suddenly a shadow figure jumps off of the roof that Jack was cornered against. The shadow figured shot three arrows at once killing both the banchies and the figure lands right next to him

Jack looks at the shadow figure "T-Thanks for saving me.. I'm Jack a town guard what's your name?"

The shadow figure was actually a man that was 20 wearing a black cloak.

"No problem Jack I'm sorry I didn't come any sooner to help your comrades. I.... I'm Marax the demon Hunter!"

"It.... it's not your fault I stood there and did nothing it's my fault."

"Jack in war there will always be casualties but you have to at least try your best to prevent as much casualties as you can. With that said you ready to fight some more and help end this battle"

"Yes let's go and kill them! For my fallen comrades!"

"Alright let's go Jack"

They both run to the northern entrance of the town. As they made their way to the battle they could hear explosions and screaming

"Jack we need to hurry"

"Agreed"

They ran faster and sow explosion Carter and piles of ashes. In the datacenters were 8 guards that were surrounded by banchies.

"Get the two in front of us and I'll get the rest." Marax said as he grabs two arrows and ready to shoot while running

"Alright"

Jack threw two throwing kinfes taking out two branches and marax slides and shoots two arrows, killing the beaches about to kill the guards then he pulls out his sword and slices the last one in half

"Are you all ok?"

"Yes thanks you. You saved us and practically saved the city."

" I was sent here to kill those monsters so it's nothing I'm just doing my job. I have to take my leave now. I need to return to my town lexicon."

"Wait before you go!" Jack yelled "here's 12 gold, For helping us out." said jack as he handed marax the money and walked off

"I guess I can't say not"

"Nope, don't die on your adventure you better come back to tell about them!"

"Will do" marax said while smiling and walking into the forest

"Time to go home" marax whispered as walked on throughout the forest.
