The Kiss (Brix and Mia's Story)

Chapter 12

Disoriented si Mia ng magising. Nasa kama siya pero hindi niya matandaan kung nasaan siya.Bumangon ito at napahinto sa sakit ng ulo niya. Hangover! Now, she remember drinking a lot last night. Ang hindi niya malaalala ay kung paano siya nakapunta sa room. Pinilit nitong bumangon, and went to the bathroom. She splashed her face with a cold water and brushed her teeth. Napatingin siya sa sarili niya sa salamin. She looks horrible. Kinuha niya ang hair brush niya and started brushing her hair. Then she went out and lie down in the bed again.

  She heard a low rapping at the door then the door opened bago pa siya makasagot.

" Good morning Bae,"sabi ni Brix at pumasok ito. Nakaputing kamiseta at shorts si Brix. Bakat na bakat ang suot nitong kamiseta at kitang kita ang abs nito at flat stomach. He look so gorgeous, sa isip ni Mia. God, I am so in trouble with this guy.

May dala dalang dalawang coffe mug si Brix." Black coffee for your hangover." at inabot ang isang coffee mug kay Mia." Be careful. It is hot."

Umupo ito, wince from the sharp pain in her head, and took the coffee mug. She sipped. It was steaming hot and it taste good.

" Thank you,"sabi nito continuing to sip her coffee.

Umupo sa tabi niya si Brix." Drink some more. Keep drinking.......It will help you get rid of it."

She sipped again." Do you have a hangover too?" tanong ni Mia at looked at him. He seems to look okay.

He shake his head." I didn't drink that much. Kayong mga girls ang naglasing, mukhang nasobrahan ni Dary ang ginawang drinks,"sagot nito and urge to drink again while he put his mug on the side table.

Uminom nga si Mia uli. This coffee does taste good.She felt a little better but the throbbing pain is still there although hindi na masyado. Napasulyap ito sa suot niya. She was wearing a black t- shirt. She was shocked. She didnt notice it when she woke up and went to the bathroom.Hindi naman ito ang suit niya kahapon.

"Why am I wearing this shirt? Who's shirt is this? I don't remember changing last night," naalarmang sabi ni Mia and looking at Brix.

" You girls started splashing water from the jacuzzi. Basang basa ang shirt mo last night. I couldn't let you sleep with it," nakangiting sabi ni Brix." I had to help you clean up and change."

Namula si Mia.'Did he just say, help me clean up. Oh my god! " You what?!" bigla itong napasigaw. Muntik ng matapon ang coffee.Ipinatong niya sa side table ang coffee mug at humarap uli kay Brix

Mia covered her face. Oh my God what did she do!

"What did you just say?"she asked again.

Brix was calmly sitting there." I helped you took off your shirt and clean you up a bit,"casual na sabi ni Brix pero nakangiti.

She closed her eyes and didn't know what to do or say. This did not happen, she keep repeating silently in her mind." Clean me up?"

"Yeah, basing basa ka eh so I help you wipe it off with the towel," he said trying hard not to smile." I promise you Babe, I didn't do anything that you do not want me to do......... "sabi pa nito," Even if I want to. So you see it is not lust."

She started hitting him with the pillows. He just started laughing while blocking the pillows. She lie back down and covered her face with the pillow. Just when she think she was okay, she does something stupid like drinking alcohol and oblivious to what happens after.

Brix lie down, side lying facing her in the bed and took the pillow away.

" Tell me you are just making this all up," she begged as she faced him side lying in bed.
