The Kiss (Brix and Mia's Story)

Chapter 13

Lumabas si Mia sa kwarto and went to dining room. Naabutan niya na nakaupo na doon sina Kathleen, Zoey and Freya.They looked at hang over as she is.

Napansin siya ni Zoe na pumasok."Mia, good morning. I guess you feel as miserable as we do,'sabi ni zoey." Come on join us and have some breakfast."

Lumapit si Mia sa table at umupo  sa tabi ni Freya.Napansin niya ang mga coffee mug ng mga ito." Hangover din kayo?"tanong nito. 

"Yup, "sagot ni Freya and pushed one mug to her." I made you a cup. And here's water. Im not sure how you like your coffee but there's some creamer and sugar if you'd like."

Kinuha ni Mia ang coffee mug dahil hindi niya masyadong nainom yong dinala ni Brix."Did you guys remember what happened last night?"tanong ni Mia." I am trying to recall what I did after we went to down from the upper deck but my mind is blank."

" Nope, I don't remember it.It must have been fun,"sabi ni Kathleen who looks miserable as her but smiled." Im pretty sure I threw up though coz I woke up with a different shirt and i dont remember changing."

Muntik ng masamid si Mia sa sinabi ni Kathleen." Did we go to the pool? "tanong ni Mia.

All three girls shrugged their shoulders. They must have been so wasted', naisip ni Mia

" Where are the guys anyway?"tanong ni Mia and started getting some pancake, eggs and bacon.

" Nasa captain's deck or I don't know what it's called.....'sabi ni Freya while she sipping her coffee." ike I said yesterday, boys and their toys. I think they are talking to the captain. Baka nagpapaturo."

" Baka mamaya niyan may bumili naman ng isa pang yacht,"sabi ni Zoey.

" I know!" sabi ni Kathleen handing the pancake to Zoey.

Mia had a looked of surprise sa sinabi ni Kathleen at  Zoey."Really? The others would want to buy one too?" nagulat na tanong ni Mia while slicing her pancakes.

"Yes.Ganyan ang mga yan. We could have travelled around the world for what this yacht is worth .But these guys, when they want something, they wont stop till they get it,"sagot ni Freya.

"Exactly,"sang-ayon ni Zoey." Caleb is the same way. Pare-pareho naman ang mga yan eh. Especially something that they thing they cant get. or challenging to get"

Mia was silent. Mukhang may laman ang sinabi ni Zoey or is she just paranoid.She tried to ignore and forget the comment.

"Matagal na silang magkaibigan?"tanong na lang ni Mia.

"Since grade school,'sagot ni Freya." Parang magkakapatid na ang mga yan. Alam na ng nila ang tupak ng isa't isa."sabi nito." As well as each other's desires and pain."

" Or each other's passion,"dagdag ni Kathleen.

" And speaking of wanting something, I think Brix wants somebody really bad,"sabi ni Zoey slyly.

" Agree, girl,"sabi ni Kathleen na sinulyapan si Mia. 

Natigilan si Mia and and stared at the three girls. They were all looking at her."What?"tanong ni Mia."Me? No, no, no.....not me, " she added shaking her head. which did not help with her hang over and winced.

Tumango ang tatlo smiling." Yes, you. He was practically seducing you with his moves last night when you were dancing,"sabi ni Freya." I never seen him, the way he is with you."

Kathleen laughed." Yup, it was so sweet."

Mia was shaking her head. " He just need his attention diverted to somebody else,"sabi ni Mia."Maybe you guys can set him up with another girl. Introduce him to somebody."
