They did not talk another word with each other before it was time to go back in the classroom, nor while they where walking back, but San still felt quite accomplished about the situation. He really hoped that he made Wooyoung feel somewhat better about everything, even though they had really just sat next to each other, minding their own business.

Nothing interesting was happening in the next class either, which is why San kept working on his little list with the Christmas gifts for his foster brothers. This also really helped him to focus on something else then the gray haired boy, because the first few minutes of class he couldn't help to glance at him for a few seconds, before looking somewhere else again. From his seat San could examine his site profile perfectly. The long lashes, the sharp jawline, the sweet looking, full pair of lips. It was more than his crowning looks what made San feel so interested about the boy though. It was something about his mysterious vibe, these dark eyes and the way he tried not to be seen, what made San not want to look away.

Wooyoung was just sitting their quietly, starring at the empty table in front of him. San highly questioned that he even packed a pencil or something to write on, but since the teacher didn't seem to care what the students did anyways, it didn't really matter. Apparently Mr. Kim had to figure out all the grades for this school year until Wednesday so he just told everyone to do their homework or some studying for the other subjects and keep it as quiet as possible. San was the only one writing something down, while the others were resting their heads on the table or secretly listening to music with their headphones, but the thing with keeping it quiet actually worked.

When the bell finally rang for the second and last break of the day San quickly jumped up from his seat again, because he expected Wooyoung to flee out of the classroom once more, but to his surprise he didn't even give a reaction to the bell this time. The other students excitedly stormed out of the classroom, while San was still standing in front of his chair, watching Wooyoung with a confused look. Was he waiting for him? »You can't stay in the classroom in your break«, the teacher suddenly pulled San out of his stare, after he had noticed a little to late that there were still students in the classroom. »You know the rules, Mr. Choi.« San quickly nodded, while glaring at the man who was watching him over his glasses for only a short second. Then he headed to Wooyoung, grabbed his arm as gently as possible in this situation and pulled him out of the classroom. He could think about a few scenarios how that situation could have played out if he had let Wooyoung react to the situation and none of them ended good for the short tempered boy.

He couldn't pull him far down the hallway before they were already stopped though. Wooyoung immediately freed himself from the grip San had him in, when he saw Yunho and Mingi suddenly standing right in front of them, looking a little unamused. »That's the wrong classroom«, Yunho said with a far deeper voice then normal, while looking at Mingi now. He was definitely trying to imitate the slightly shorter boy. »Yeah, yeah. Whatever«, Mingi said annoyed before turning his attention back to San. »What took you so long? I'm so hungry that I'm getting cramps«, he said dramatically while rubbing his stomach, which made San roll his eyes. »I'm not the only one who got money for lunch from Halmoni«, he answered a little annoyed. Why did he always had to take care of them? Yunho was the oldest here, not him.

»I'm definitely not going to search for Joong and Hwa«, Mingi said while shaking his head. Okay, that actually is quite reasonable, San thought. »Let's just go and eat together«, Yunho said impatient, before starting to walk down the hallway. Mingi directly followed him and San hesitantly a few seconds later, because he wasn't sure what to do about Wooyoung. He didn't want to leave him behind, but he also didn't knew how he would react to another invitation to hang out with them. Wooyoung didn't move from the spot. »Together counts you in, Wooyoung«, Yunho then shouted, after turning around for a second to see if his younger foster brothers were listening to him. To his surprise Wooyoung actually did what he was told. San was really happy about the fact that he was not the only one trying to make the new boy comfortable.

He still didn't say anything at the cafeteria table, but they usually didn't talk much at lunch anyways so that was completely fine. Everyone ate good and gained new energy, before the last class of the day started. This time it wasn't Mr. Kim who was with them but Mrs. Lee, which is why they actually did something for a change. It was more like a reflection of the year and hopes and dreams for the next year, then actually studying, but it was nice to have something to think about. San wrote down his reflection in a light blue color and his hopes and dreams in a soft gray. He was so into the task, that he didn't look at Wooyoung at all this time. When the class ended and everyone was packing their stuff, he saw that Wooyoung hadn't written down anything on the paper Mrs. Lee had placed in front of him.

This time San didn't had to run out to follow him nor to drag him out of the classroom, since they were going the same way. They ended up not walking to the car next to each other, but only so far apart that they could still see the other one. When San spotted the big van on the same spot as Yunho had parked it this morning his foster brothers were already there. Hongjoong was already sitting behind the wheel and Seonghwa right next to him, as always. Jongho and Yeosang were sitting all the way in the back and Yunho and Mingi were still standing next to the Van, laughing and doing some weird dance moves. »Here they come«, Mingi then screamed, after he had noticed Wooyoung and San walking up to the car. San reached the car the moment Wooyoung was about to follow Yunho and Mingi inside, when Hongjoong suddenly turned around. »Yah, did you apologize to San? You can walk home, if not.« San didn't get a chance to clear up the situation, before Wooyoung turned away from the car and started walking towards the street.

San only glanced at Hoongjoong for a second, really looking mad which was not like him at all. This had to be enough to signalize his older brother that he just fucked up big time. San didn't had time to say anything to him right now though, because when he turned around to see where Wooyoung was, the boy already was heading the complete wrong direction from home. San left his brothers behind without a word and started running like crazy. When he catched up to Wooyoung he was too exhausted to say anything, not that he would know what to say anyways, so he just grabbed him at his arm again and turned him around.

They walked home directly next to each other without saying a word.

And even though San made sure to immediately tell Hongjoong that he shouldn't talk to Wooyoung like that again when they got home, which was the only reason why the gray haired boy got in the car to drive to school the next morning, the two of them walked home alone the whole week. They did not talk about this, nor did they talk in the breaks, when they were sitting in front of each other, hiding behind the school building. They just knew, that the other would be there.
