PoV(Kurt)
We arrived at Inkopolis Center Station by train, from Cephallo Street. Cember rushed out of the train dragging Kent with her. Cember is mostly responsible for Kents entertainment.If you want to know Kent and Cember's relation, they mostly treat each other like little brother and big sister.
Jaycee: Cember... Ya gotta love her attitude, when it comes in cheering up Kent.
Kurt: She's always like this. Me and Cember where bestfriends, ever since where 5.
Jaycee: Agreed...(Both smiled each other) Welp, We better catch up to them, before we loose them.
As I and Jaycee ran after Kent and Cem, I accidently bumped into some one. I dont know who I crashed into, but I immediatly stood up and apoligize.
Kurt: Cod!! I'm so sorry! Here, let me help you with your things! (He started to pick up the fallen gear parts from the bag)
???: It's alright! Some Inktolings can be clumsy sometimes...
As I picked up the last of the parts, I took a good look at the stranger's face. It was a girl inkling. She tried to help her self, but I offered her my arm. I blushed a bit cause it's not normal for me to help girls. After I helped her up, I apologize again.
Kurt: Again, I'm so sorry in bumbing you! (He bowed infornt of her)
???: There is no need to apologize agian. At least you helped me with my gear. Thank You! Uh.... Can I get your name?
Kurt:(!!!) O-oh! I-its K-Kurt! <Fudge why did I studder?> And what's your name?
Ally: Oh my name is Ally! Nice to meet you! (They shook hands, Kurt blushed a bit)
Kurt: Ally?... Haven't I heard that name before?
Ally: Excuse me?
Kurt: No, its just I think I heard your name before. But I can't put my finger about it...
Just I was about to get my answer, I was interrupted by someone calling out my name. It was Jaycee and he looked stress.
Jaycee: Kurt! Kurt! (He saw Kurt) There ya are I've been look'n fer ya! Kent and Cember are at the Salty Dog's Arcade and they are waiting for us! (He shouted)
Kurt: I'm coming Jaycee! ( I faced Ally one last time) Well, it's nice meeting! See ya!
Ally: You too, See ya later!
I ran back to Jaycee and we started our way towards Sea Dog's Arcade. As we we ran, I looked at our leader. Like I said he seems stress from something.
Kurt: You look tense? What's the problem? (He stopped running)
Jaycee: (?!?) (He also stopped runnig) Oh, it's just that i've haven't been in a GTWT in the past 2 years. Its making me adgitated.
Kurt: Dont worry, Jaycee! The Splat Devils will succeed in this tournament. (He gave a reassured smile)
Jaycee: I... Don't know what to say?... (Kurt pat him on his right shoulder)
Kurt: Just remember that if you lead, the team is always got your back!
Jaycee: Thx Kurt, you always keep me calm when it comes to these situations. (He smiled)
I can feel something that the GTWT isn't the only thing that Jaycee is worried about. There is something or someone that is making him this tense, and I will find out who or what is it. For now the GTWT awaits.
Jaycee: Come on, Cem and Kent are waiting!...
Salty Dog's Arcade, PoV(Cember)
Me and Kent were Finishing a game at Squid Invaders. We are totally gonna pass Level 25 this time. As I look beside Kent, he seems completley focused on the game. Hec he is even better at the game than me. I look at screen i only got one life left. Yeah... I kinda suck at the game. But when Kent is around, You guessed it he carries me through out the game.
Cember: Kent, you ready? (Kent noded) Lets go!! (They started the game)
The Level had started and the boss was hard as hell! I died instanlly, but Kent continued on. As I watched him moving the joystick trying to beat the boss, I compare his skills to Mask's videogame skills (The guy from Splatoon Manga). Kent manage to defeat the boss without loosing a single health. My jaw dropped at his skills.(OwO) He gave a fragile smile to me and went outside quietly.
Now to tell more about Kent, he dosent talk that much. He rarely talks to the team, but when he those, he mostly whispers it to our leader, Jaycee. I just wonder many things about him. Like, why is he always wearing a jacket? Or why he is so quiet about things? My pondering was interrupted by Kurt. He was calling me at the entrance.
Kurt: Cem! The GTWT is about the to start! The Oncean Stars are on!
Cem: Oh shoot! Really?! I'm comming Kurty!
Me and Kurt went outside to meet up with Jaycee and Kent. The whole Center packed full of Inktoltings. Then the Big screen from the tower turnned on, it means the event was about to start!! Eeekk!!!...I can't hold my excitment, its just too much!
Aeon and Jina: Inkolting! Are you guys ready for the Grand Turf War Tournament?!!
The whole Center cheered and roared. Lightings, sprinklers and balloons brought color and life to the Center like it was Splatfest or something...
Jaycee: Devils, it is our time! Lets prove them!... In what can the Splat Devils can do...
