Chapter 30: The Kalamari Sprays and the Kenshutsu

Aeon's wing cafe, PoV(Jaycee)

I'm in my workshop/garage right now, finishing Kent's brand new weapon. I finally fixed the main issue of the Sprays! The Prototype sprays kept jamming itself, but I already fixed it and they are ready to go! I shall name these sprays, the Kalamari Sprays! The first new weapon of it's kind!

Just then Fernando texted that he and Cember just picked up Kent and they're on there way here! I was panicking a bit that Kent's is on his way! I hid the weapons inside a chest, went outside of the workshop, closed and locked it, then headed for the cafe. I got back to the cafe and just in time! Fernando, Cember and Kent just arrived!

Jaycee: Morning, Splat Devils!

Fernando: (Fernando smiled and laughed a bit) But Jaycee I'm not a Splat Devil anymore!

Cember: But you're Always a spalt Devil to me!

Kent: And me too!

Jaycee: Even though we came from different teams, you are always a Splat Devils to us! (Fernando was touched)

Kent: So are we here for practice, Jaycee?

Jaycee: Yes and there is something else!... (Cember was shaking in excitement but Kent was just confused)

Jaycee: (He glared at Cember)Don't you dare spoil it Cember!

Kent: Also! Where's Kurt?

Jaycee: His with his girlfriend right now, but he will come eventually!...

Kent: Wait? Kurt has a Girlfriend?

Cember: Let's not discuss this!...

I lead them all to the garage. I turn on the lights, went to the spot where I hid the Sprays. I grabbed the weapons and turned back for Kent. To my surprise, Cember was covering Kent's eyes!

Jaycee: Is it really necessary to cover his eyes?

Cember: What?! I want to have a moment with this! (Fernando just laughed)

Jaycee:(Cember uncovered Kent's eyes) Kent! After I heard what Ryan did to your new Tri-Slosher, I felt angry and devastated for you! Cember came to the cafe with the broken pieces of your Slosher. So... I scrapped everything and made these!... (Jaycee presented the weapon.Kent was amazed) Kent! I present to you!... Your new weapons!... The Kalamari Sprays!

Kent: (Jaycee lent the weapon to Kent. Kent gazed on the weapons) Jaycee... I don't know what to say?...

Jaycee: There is no need for formality! All I wanted is to see your smile!

Kent: (He hugged Jaycee) Thank you and I love you, Jaycee! I love my new weapons!

Jaycee: You're welcome Kent! You wanna try them out?!

Kent: Heck, Yes!

I watched Kent going outside filled with happiness, with the Kalamari Sprays on hand. Fernando followed Kent outside. I tried to follow but Cember stopped me.

Jaycee: What is it, Cember?

Cember: So, I bought a new Scope yesterday, so...

Jaycee: Wait! What happened to your other scope?

Cember: That was Fernando's, he had an extra for me to use! But I gave it back!

Jaycee: Oh... I thought it was yours!

Cember: As I was saying! I bought this new scope! (She showed her new weapon)

Jaycee: The Kensa scope? What do you want me to do with it?

Cember: I want you to tinker with it! I want a scope that pairs up with the Ink Tridon, well!

Jaycee: Just place the Kensa scope at my table and I'll tinker with it later! But first, I have to train Kent with his new weapon!

Cember gave me her signature smile and placed her Kensa scope at my table. We headed outside and I finally see Kurt! He too was amazed by the new weapon for Kent.

Kurt: Jaycee, did you made this?!

Jaycee: Yep! Out of the scraps from the Tri-Slosher!

Kurt: How those it work?

Jaycee: Well... Kent! Put them on.

Kent: But I don't know how? (Jaycee taught Kent on how to wear and use the Kalamari Sprays)

Jaycee: Rais your arms, aim for the target!

Kent: (He held his arms up) Like this?

Jaycee: Yes, Now let a rip!

I watched Kent let out a wave of ink from the Kalamari sprays, and so Kent's training begins. Kurt and Cember were amazed on how does the Kalamari sprays work. Kent's a natural in using at his new weapon! He is spreading the ink and using his Special, which is my new Special! "Ink Cannons"!

Jaycee: (He clapped for Kent) Great job Kent! I'll let you practice further! I'll be at the garage if anyone needs me! Cause I'm gonna tinker with Cember's weapon.

Kent: Got it, Jaycee!

PoV(Kent)

I watched Jaycee going back inside his garage. Cember and Kurt quickly approached me with smiles. I assumed they want to try my new weapons, so I let them borrow my weapons. I noticed that Fernando went inside to garage too. I guess he wants to see what Jaycee's up too.

Few hours later, After Lunch rush

The team was tired from all the training and goofing around. It was already 4:30 in the afternoon. Cember just chatted with Fernando with something, Kurt was on his phone texting with someone, while I watch the beautiful orange sunset. Just then Jaycee finally came out from his garage, bringing a Splatterscope with him. I wonder if that Splatterscope was for Fernando? I watched Jaycee approached Cember and gave it to her.

Jaycee: Cember, as you requested! I modified your Splatterscope!

Cember: (She looked at the appearance) But it didn't change?!

Jaycee: Oh, there is a difference! It's in this (He pointed at the scope)Kent go behind the door that leads to my kitchen! (Kent followed Jaycee's orders) Take a look!

Cember: (Cember looked) (!!!) Whoa!! (She saw Kent behind the wall!)

Jaycee: You like it? I placed an X-ray lens in your scope! Now you can see anyone hiding behind through walls or anything that is blocking your vision! Perfect for the Ink Tridon!

Cember: What do you call this Splatterscope?

Jaycee: The Kenshutsu Scope!

Cember: Thanks Jaycee! I knew you can do it for me! I love it! (She gave her signature smile and hugged him)

Jaycee: (He warmly smiled) Any time!...

Fernando: <Man the team is becoming different each day! New weapons for each and one of them! That Jaycee is a good leader and a good tinker...>

Kurt: New weapons, new gear? We are learning so much!

Jaycee: Yes we do, Kurt!... Let's give it our all for tomorrow's match guys! Everyone (He held his hand out) Faith!...

Kent: Unity!...

Cember: Precision!...

Kurt: and Mastery!... (Fernando joined in)

Fernando: Don't forget... Friendship!... (Everyone smiled)

Jaycee: On my mark!... Who we are?!...

Everyone: Splat Devils!!!
