Chapter 11: Busted and Kent's reunion.

Aeon's Wings Cafe, Morning, PoV(Jaycee)

Welp! Another day to prepare the cafe and for our 2nd match. I headed to check my 2 brothers' room, but all I can see was my 3rd brother, Neo. It's been 3 days after Diego storm out from the cafe, maybe he went back to Ma and Pa at Inkopolis plaza. I'm just getting worried for him where he might be and how he was acting lately... Any ways, I went down stairs and did my usual routine. An hour later the whole team showed up. 

Jaycee: Ah, Mornin guys! You guys look drowsy, let me make you some coffee! (The members sat down, except Jaycee who is making the Coffee) Order up!

Kurt and Cember: Thanks, Jaycee... (They were a bit tiered, but drank their Coffee)

Jaycee: Why so tiered? Didn't got enough sleep last night? Did my Coffee made you too energectic? (He joked)

Kurt: (He smiled)Yeah... We've been practicing last night... Just extra rounds on my Splattershot Jr. (Yawn!...)

Cember: (Yawn!..).And I was helping him too...

Jaycee: Don't you yawn in front of me, or else I'll---(Yawn!...) too...(Cember laughed that Jaycee also got affected) Alright you got me! Any ways I've got the Info on Kent's old team.(He gave the Paper)

Jaycee: Also, be aware of Fernando's Special..." Ink Tridon". Me and Kent know how Ink Tridon works. It's like The Stringray special, but it can only fire one bullet.

Cember: That's it? One bullet?

Jaycee: Oh, there is more. Like the Stingray special, It passes through walls and when it hits it target it explodes, like my Inkstrike. Add that to Fernando's deadly accuracy... It's going to be tough for us.(Every one shuddered) Hope the battle ground isn't Moray Towers.

Kurt: What about the others?

Jaycee: The rest are just a minor threat, but Fernando is biggest threat we have to face. Try not to get into his sight.

Cember: Huh! Maybe Frenando and Skull should have a sniper battle.(They all laughed)

Kurt: Good one, Cember!

Jaycee: Any ways let me get my gear and we'll be leaving for the Center.(Cember and Kurt shuddered) (He left the room and went for the garage)

Kurt: (!!!) Hope he dosen't notice...

Cember: He is so gonna kill us... (Kent was confused on what Cember and Kurt were talking about)

I headed towards to the garage and I felt something dosen't feel right... I can't shake of that feeling that something has been taken from me. Oh, well maybe it's just another of my delusions. I unlocked and opened the garage door and saw my Splattling gun. I grabbed my weapon and I was about to check on the M.S.G. for the last time, but Kurt yelled that the team was about to be late! I checked my watch. Shoot! I'm now panicking and rushed back in front of the cafe, where the team was waiting. I didn't have time for the M.S.G. right now. Maybe later...

Inkopolis Center station, PoV(Kent)

So... Me and the Splat Devils arrived at the station, the doors open, yada yada... Then I saw them... My old team, Team Covert Squids... The feeling of regrets and doubt fills my body. I was shaking in fear and excitement, that I finally saw my old friends, after 4 months. Fernando turned his head and saw me. I was shocked and hid behind Jaycee... He and his team approached my team. Jaycee and Fernando just stared at each other, until...

Jaycee: Fernando! It's been a while... (He smiled)

Fernando: Ola, Jaycee! How is Kent?

Jaycee: His doing fine in the Splat Devils! Best support I can ever had. (He looked at Kent) Kent? Maybe it is time for you to reconnect with yer friends? Don't be worried, they don't bite. (Jaycee gave a warm smile to Kent, which gave him a little confidence to face Fernando)

Kent: H-hello F-Fernando! (Fernando suddenly gave Kent a hug) (!!!)

Fernando: Kent... It's been so long... We missed and we're worried about you... Why you didn't kept in touch with us?

Kent: I-I was busy... with something... ( Fernando gave him a concerned look)

Fernando: (He approached Jaycee) Well, Jaycee, my friend! Thank you, for taking care of Kent. After he left the team, I was a bit heart broken. But you made me understand what he is going through. (He presented his arm) Lets have a great match today?

Jaycee: (Jaycee smiled and shook Fernando's hand)  May the best team wins, Fernando! 

After Jaycee's and Fernando's conversation, both of them decided that the teams should stick together, until we reached to the tower. I was shacking nervously, thinking on what will my other friends of think me... Miguel approached me with his same charismatic attitude. Miguel always makes me feel welcomed and relevant in the team. Cassy and Seth also greeted me. Me and Seth bro fisted each other, while Cassy asked me on how I was doing in the Splat Devils. She was a bit sad and happy at same time, that I made a choice in my life...

Waiting room, PoV(Kurt)

The team was preparing for the battle, Jaycee was pacing back and forth, worried about the Map. Yep! You guessed it! The battle is going to be held in Moray towers. Cember was adjusting her Roller and Kent was sitting at the bench quietly, spacing out, as if he was lifeless. I pulled out the M.S.G, from my bag ,and immediately Jaycee saw it...

Jaycee:(!?!) Is that?... The M.S.G? You brought it?! (He ran towards Kurt)

Kurt: Uh... Let me explain (Jaycee gave him a hard and an angry glare)

Jaycee: How did ya manage to grab that, under my nose? (Cember shuddered and faced towards Kurt and Jaycee)

Cember: Oh... Well Kurt! We're busted...

Jaycee: You were involve with this too, Cember?!!

Kurt: We're so in trouble right now. (Cember nodded)
