Chapter 22: Here Comes Trouble

Reiji P.O.V

Many changed have been happening these days. Ayato has been more stubborn and gotten worse than ever. Kanato is still unreached by the madness. Laito has been actually bringing more and more women in the mansion and the women end up missing after. Shu is still a damned lazy deadbeat. And Subaru has been with Rie most of the times.

As for the two humans..Rie is stabilizing her powers a bit more in preparation to protect Yui from Cordelia. Yui on the other hand has been troubled and her lost of consciousness has been more frequently entertained.

If Beatrix even show up right now, that'd mean her warning.

"Rei-kun! Open up!" I then opened the door.

I found Rie, trying to regain her composure.

"What is it that you want, Aika?"

"Huff..Your....Huff...Mom....huff....Is.....huff....Here"

"Please repeat, I did not understand" I said as I crossed my arms.

She took a deep breath.

"Your mother is here" I then froze in place in sudden realization.

'It's near. And she's here to warn us'

Then we head out and saw Beatrix, hugging Shu.

"Shu!! I missed my dearest son so much!!" She said.

"Explain why she's alive" I said sternly to Rie.

"I-I saw her soul and she asked me a favor to bring her back to life just for 3 days since 3 days is my limit at doing these things" She explained thoroughly.

Then Beatrix looked our way.

"Reiji..You've grown to such a vampire that I dreamt you'd be" she then smiled and looked at Yui.

"And you must be the sacrificial bride?" She asked.

"Y-Yes!" Yui replied.

The smile on Beatrix' face became a frown.

"Too bad she's in you. You're a pure soul but she's the most sinful person in the world. I trust that you'll be able to overcome her somehow"

Rie P.O.V

"You mean Cordelia, right?" I asked.

Beatrix looked at me with widened eyes.

"How did you know?" She asked me.

"I just know.." I answered half-heartedly.

"Well, Here comes the start of your troubles, young exceed"
