Weeks later, Annalys arrived with Jon, Daenerys, and the rest of her army to Winterfell. Annalys had to be honest, it felt good to be back. She had called the place home numerous times over the years and after months away, she missed it dearly. She felt to be at peace.

Annalys rode on her horse alongside Daenerys with Jon close to them. Daenerys turned to Annalys, exchanging a smile with her before looking ahead once more. She seemed to do that a lot, Annalys recalled. Many times since their night together, Annalys caught Daenerys staring at her and smiling shyly.

While people smiled at Annalys, their queen, as she rode by them, they glared at Daenerys, which Annalys noticed. She sighed in defeat, giving Daenerys a knowing look, "Don't say I didn't warn you," She spoke up, causing Daenerys to turn to look at her, "Northerners aren't that trusting to outsiders. It took them years to truly trust me."

Drogon and Rhaegal roared up in the sky, causing many northerners to jump in fright and look up in utter disbelief.

Many men, women, and children were scared of the dragons, fearing that they would attack them. The same exact thing happened the last time Dragons were that far North three hundred years before. They had a right to be scared.

Annalys turned to look at Daenerys, noticing the faint smirk on the woman's face as the people became scared of the dragons. It was almost as if she took pleasure in the people being scared of her and her dragons in that way.

Arya, who stood hidden in the crowd of Northerners, smiled when she locked eyes on Annalys as she rode her horse alongside Daenerys. Arya didn't care if Annalys bent the knee to the Dragon Queen, Arya's only queen would ever be Annalys. She heard about everything Annalys had done over the years and everything she learned, Arya found herself looking up to Annalys. Oddly enough, in a way, Annalys was her hero. Since they were children, Arya had always looked up to Annalys and her gender-barrier breaking ways.

Annalys, Jon, and Daenerys were led through the gates of Winterfell and once seeing Bran sitting in a wheelchair along with the rest of the lords and ladies who were waiting to welcome them, Annalys forced her horse to come to stop.

She quickly climbed off the horse, running over to Bran with Jon quick to follow her. Bran had an unreadable expression on his face as he looked up at Jon and Annalys. It had been nearly eight years since they last saw each other. It was the day she and Robb left with the Stark's bannermen to fight in the war. He was a young boy then. Now, he was almost a man.

Despite Bran's permanent sitting position, Jon tightly hugged his younger brother and placed a kiss to his forehead.

Jon pulled away from the hug, looking Bran in the eye with a large smile on his face. He couldn't believe it. Bran was alive. After all these years, Bran was back, alive and well.
