SIXTY YEARS
LATER

Sixty years had passed since the day Annalys had become Queen of the Six Kingdoms and the people of Westeros hadn't seen happier times than when their beloved queen came to rule over them. She had married again, Gendry Baratheon.

At first, it hadn't been love, he was simply someone Annalys knew she would find a great husband in, someone she could trust. There was no one else alive she trusted enough to become the father of her children, let alone rule the Six Kingdoms alongside him.

In time, she grew to love him and Gendry grew to love her as well. But they never loved each other in the ways they loved their first loves, they both knew that. Annalys ended up having four children, three boys and one girl. She named her firstborn, her eldest daughter, Lyanna, after Lyanna Mormont, the girl who always believed in her.

She named her sons Jaime, Robb, and Eddard. Jaime, for her father. Robb, for the first man she loved. And Eddard, which was chosen by both Gendry and Annalys. Gendry didn't even try to argue with the other names, he liked them and agreed with her on them.

Lyanna ended up growing up to be just like her mother and in the end, the Great Houses chose her to be their new queen. Jaime had gotten Casterly Rock, Robb had gotten Storm's End, and Eddard had gotten Dragonstone, which was rightfully theirs because of Gendry's Baratheon lineage and its connection to the Targaryens.

In the end, Annalys had lived a happy life. Well, as happy as she could be. She died of old age and at peace with herself, no guilt consuming her any longer, despite suffering from Survivor's Guilt for many years.

"Annalys," Annalys suddenly heard a voice call out to her, snapping her out of her darkness. The voice led to her opening her eyes.

She immediately became confused when she found herself standing in an unfamiliar place. She glanced around with a frown on her face, only to recognize where she was. Winterfell. The place she hadn't been to in decades.

It was different, however. It was brighter and there were many people around her. They stood in the Great Hall with smiles on their faces. They laughed, drank, and conversed with each other. Was this supposed to be some sort of hell for her? How could something so bright and happy be her hell?

It seemed familiar to her, but she didn't know why.

"Annalys," That same exact voice called out and Annalys' eyes widened, finding herself recognizing it.

She felt an odd sensation in her gut at the sound of the man's voice. She used to love it so much. It was pretty deep and the tone he always used always used to make her feel weak in the knees at time, for some reason.
