Nightfall had come and gone, yet Annalys, Jon, and the rest of the group was forced to sit tight and wait for someone to come help them. Even with her large cloak, Annalys began to shiver, her whole body shaking. She enjoyed the cold, but she never endured it long enough to be able to survive such conditions.

After all, she was a Southern girl. She was born in King's Landing, a place where it was almost always warm. Annalys turned her head, noticing that Jon, who sat beside her, was freezing as well. He seemed to be on the verge of losing consciousness. The Wight they had captured continued to snarl, causing Annalys to groan in annoyance, "For fuck's sake, shut that thing up!" She exclaimed, the cold doing nothing to calm her nerves.

The Hound, who was also growing tired of the creature's snarling, stood up. He walked over to the Wight, roughly kicking it. The Wights around them seemed to be affected by the hit as well, clearly enraged. The group immediately stood up from the ground, glancing around at the creatures alongside the Hound.

"Thoros?" Annalys suddenly heard Beric call out to his friend, causing him to look down to see what she presumed to be Thoros' corpse. His eyes were open, just as his mouth was, "Thoros." He became quieter, saddened by his friend's death. He lifted up his cloak, covering his deceased friend's body with it.

The Hound looked down at the ground, kneeling next to Thoros, "They say it's one of the better ways to go," He spoke up, looking almost saddened.

"There's no good way to die," Annalys admitted quietly, sighing in defeat.

The Hound picked up Thoros' flask, beginning to drink from it, "Lord of Light, show us the way. Come to us in our darkness and lead Your servant into the light," Beric spoke up and Jon walked over to the Hound, snatching the flask from him.

"We have to burn his body," Jon spoke up as the Hound glared at him. Jon glanced around at the group, just before he poured the rest of the liquid in the flask over Thoros' body.

"We'll all be close behind him unless the Lord of Light is kind enough to send us a bit of fire," Tormund spoke up, only to watch as Beric light up his sword.

"Lord of Light, come to us in our darkness, for the night is dark and full of terrors," He prayed, just before he stabbed his flaming sword into Thoros.

The man's corpse immediately erupted into flames and Annalys, not wanting to witness the sight, walked over to stand next to the wight's body. Ser Jorah soon walked over to Annalys, joining her, "We'll all freeze soon," He informed her quietly, "And so will the water."

"I know," She admitted, her voice just above a whisper.

"When you killed the White Walker, almost all the dead that followed it fell," Jorah explained to Annalys, who nodded her head in response, "Why?"
