God won't appoint you as a leader if He knows you're not yet capable. Kaya kung tinawag ka ni Lord na mag-lead, or kung leader ka na, that only means one thing—He trusts you.

Mayroong tinanim si Lord na potential sa'yo that is waiting to be unleashed. When God entrusts you something, it means you can be trusted. It means alam mo paano i-handle ang mga members mo. And it is by depending on Him, not on your own self.

You see, sobrang valuable ng mga cell group members mo. May potential din sila. But for you to lead them wisely and to carry this responsibility effectively, you are especially anointed with one thing—authority.

As a cell group leader, you have to lead with authority. But this kind of authority is different from what the world teaches us. The authority that I'm talking about comes from the Spirit.

So he said to me, "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the Lord Almighty. ‭‭-Zechariah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That's why it's a necessity to continously fill yourself with the Holy Spirit. Kasi sa Kaniya nanggagaling 'yung POWER. You can preach by what you just know. Pero non-sense. Bakit? Kasi walang power. As a result, hindi naitanim sa puso ng mga members mo 'yung preaching. Hindi nag-impact sa kanila. Hindi nag-strike sa kanila. Hindi sila nagbabago. And I call this DISASTER!

Nagsayang ka lang ng time and effort yet at the end of the day, hindi mo na-please si Lord.

REMEMBER: Obedience is better than sacrifice.

They submit to your instructions and assignment kasi nangungusap si Lord sa kanila.

And since you know already na mayroon kang authority, you are also responsible to MENTOR your disciples.

Now, what is spiritual mentoring?

Mentoring is motivating people to grow in spiritual maturity. Usually, it is a one-on-one session between a "more matured disciple" with another disciple.

As a mentor, you must be more spiritually fed and matured sa taong mini-mentoran mo. Pwede kang mag-mentor ng sariling disciples mo, or ka-minister mo. Basta dapat, established na ang relationship niyo. Kasi rito magiging open kayo sa isa't-isa.

As leaders, we aim to produce FAST disciples. F-aithful. A-vailable. S-ubmissive. T-eachable.

There are five levels of spiritual maturity.
