BONUS CHAPTER: How to Start a Lifegroup at Home

Due to alarming pandemic outbreak (COVID-19), I instructed this to my disciples and gusto ko na rin i-share rito.

May reason kung bakit in-allow ni Lord ang lock down at home quarantines. I believe this is the "RIGHTEST" time to share Jesus to them. God doesn't care kung ano man ang situation ng family mo today. They may be the type na "Walang Oras", "Strict", "Close-Minded". Hindi nabo-box si Lord dyan!

Let's all be braver to lead them to Jesus. This will take a LOT of PRAYERS and COURAGE.

We never know hanggang kailan lang natin sila makakasama or kung kailan ang RAPTURE. Will we take the RISK to WIN them or WAIT until we LOSE them?

I highly encourage you to win your family. Kung hindi pa sila Kristyano o malalim kay Lord--it doesn't matter. God is giving us the opportunity na i-share ang Gospel sa kanila. Kaya ise-share ko na rin sa inyo ang mga sinabi ko sa disciples ko.

HOW TO START A LIFEGROUP AT HOME
(Pre-conditioning edition)

1. Maglinis ng bahay
Bago mo sila yayain mag LG, make sure malinis ang buong bahay para hindi sumakit ulo ng nanay mo at hindi ka na uutusan.

2. Low-key evangelize

You have all the days left in a week. Dapat kada araw na 'yon, nase-sharan mo sila ng Gospel. Kahit sa simpleng paraan lang like, "andaming nangyayari sa mundo ngayon. Parating na talaga si Lord."

3. Magpa good shot sa fam!

Lahat ng utos sa'yo, dapat masaya mong sinusunod. Huwag magdadabog. Be sweet to them. Kahit 'di nila sabihin, gawin mo! Maging bida bida.

4. Set a time for your home lifegroup

Mag-set ka ng oras na available ang lahat at hindi busy. Find a place sa house niyo kung saan tahimik at pwede kayong mag gather.

5. Pray for it!

This is the most important. Hindi na lang YOUTH ang nili-lead mo. Mixed generations na 'yan. Kailangan mo ng matinding anointing at kapit kay LORD para i-lead ang family mo.

STRUCTURE OF A HOME LIFEGROUP MEETING

1. Place

Set-up the place kung saan kayo mag LG ng fam mo sa house niyo. Make sure it's comfy, hindi mainit at kasya kayo.

2. Atmosphere

Ngayong nakapag gather na kayo, build the atmosphere. This can be done sa pag prepare mo ng foods for them, or even games na nakaka enjoy at lahat mag-eengage.

3. Introduce

While setting the atmosphere, pwede mo na rin i-introduce kung ano ang LIFEGROUP at bakit mo ito ginagawa. As much as possible, be open to them. Huwag ka mahiya i-share ang value ng LG. Also, encourage them na wala 'yan sa religion and you just really want to share the word of God. Included na rin dito ang questions mo sa kanila kung anong insights nila sa ginagawa niyo. (Feeling awkward ba? Napilitan? Gusto?)

4. Opening Prayer

Ngayong light na ang atmosphere at may openness na sa inyo, you can now lead the prayer. Make it SSS. Short. Simple. Sincere.

TIP: Be personal. Don't use words na hindi sila makaka relate like "anointing", "rebuke" and any other na pang malalalim na Kristyano lang ang nakakaalam. The goal here is to make them feel na hindi naman complicated mag LG.

5. Praise Reports

Ikaw na mag-umpisa nito. Lahat ng pwede mong ipagpasalamat ay i-share mo sa fam mo. Tapos, hayaan mong sila naman ang mag praise report. Kung merong member na ayaw, huwag na muna ipilit.

6. Word

Dapat pinaghandaan mo ito at pinag-pray talaga kay Lord. Make sure appropriate para sa kanila ang word. Dapat timely, relevant and of course, anointed. Ngayong may pandemic tayong kinakaharap, you can make a word about that and as a family, ano ang dapat niyong gawin? Use 2-3 pointers na maaalala nila.

In facilitating them for the first time, dapat encouraging ang approach but at the same time convicting. Don't sugarcoat God's word. Elaborate the verses and pointers further. Kung sinabing REPENT, anong ibig sabihin n'un? Give them examples and practical applications.Don't use too much verses to the point of information overload. Our goal here is not to dump them information but to supply them with wisdom that will lead to repentance.Also, ask them questions time by time and allow them to explain too. Hindi lang ikaw ang magsasalita rito.

7. Impact

After concluding the word, highlights session. Ask them kung ano ang pinaka tumatak or tumama sa kanila. You can secretly take notes of their impact. Bakit? Para ma monitor mo after LG kung may progress ba sa kanya. Ex. ang impact niya ay "worry". After the LG, observe the person kung nagwoworry pa ba siya or not.

8. Instructions

This may vary sa kung anong word ang ibababa mo. But instructions are PRACTICAL APPLICATION of the word. Ano ang gagawin nila ngayong alam na nila ang Truth? Suggest ways to them. Ex. Starting this week, lahat tayo dapat walang NEGA. Wala tayong maririnig na negative talks, okay?

9. Clarifications

Let them ask questions. Clarify everything. Kung may suggestions din ba sila o ano. Tanungin mo na rin kung nag-enjoy ba sila.

10. Intercession

Again, ask them. Ask them kung anong gusto nilang ipanalangin sa FAMILY. Pwede rin ibang areas of life pero mas focus talaga ay ang family. Then, ipag pray mo sila sa closing prayer. Isa-isahin mo ang names nila while praying and speak life to them. Interceding is praying in behalf of them.

TIP: Pwede mong gawin 'yung ginagawa ko sa LG na you ask one word from them at iyon ang ipag-pray mo sa kanila. Example: PEACE, PATIENCE, PROVISION. Declare your faith!

After prayer, you can now close the LG with claps/praises! 😇
