Time waits for no one.

17 years old, Sophie.

"Hey. Mom." I called her from the dining table. She turned at me and smiled. Dad suddenly got in and greeted. "Good morning honey." He kissed me and headed at his seat. Mom went out from the kitchen with the pancakes in her hands.

"It's like I have the greatest dream in my life." I smiled, "but I couldnt even recall what was it."

Mom and dad chuckled and started to settle the plates in the table.

"It always happened to me dear." Dad said as he took the fresh newspaper at the table. I looked at him and then afterwards at his newspaper where there's an article that caught my eyes ; warped tour on two days!

"And sometimes, it happen to you like you feelt it's a de javu." Dad continued as he turned his newspaper. I looked at him and then shifted again my eyes at the article : meet your favorite band in an instance!

Heh.. the advertisment seems like desperate, but anyways.

"You better be ready for your school." Mom reminded me. Oh yeah. I remember, I've got some journalist club activities later.

Mom gave me milk and quickly I chugged it straightly. Dad slowed me down as mom laughed.

"My little baby is a grown up already" she sighed. I'll be turning 18 tomorrow, wow.

It's..  So fast.

I stood up and took my bag at my sides, " well, im going!" I said. Afterwards, there was a ring from the door. Mom looked at it while I kissed dad at his cheeks.

"Oh, I forgot karen our neighbor." Then she left. I pulled myself away from dad and smiled.

"My little chick will turn into a splendid chicken tomorrow!"

"Wow dad. You probably should use different words other than that." I sighed.

He laughed and hugged me.

"Okay, now go and give your mom a goodbye kiss."

"Okaaay!"

I ran to the hallway with my bag bouncing at my back.

I smiled as I see mom at the door standing. I tried to see Mrs. Karen infront of her but, I was wrong.

There was no one infront of mom.

All I can see was a box that she was holding. Afterwards, she looked at me, smiling.

"You've got an early gift!" She chuckled and was in disbelief. The half part of me was excited and happy and ther half was nervous.

"From who was it?"

"I dont know. There's no address nor name."

I smiled but still feeling surprised.

I took the big box and stare at it. I saw a card and read it aloud.

"Time waits for no one... ?"

I frowned but then smiled. I looked at mom and she then too.

"Maybe it's from your uncle who always play prank to you." She laughed. "Well, do you want to open it already?" She closed the door. As we both stood at the foyer. I smiled started to walk to the loving room.

"It said time waits for no one. So it shouldn't wait for tomorrow."

And as I sit at the sofa with mom watching me, then afterwards, dad joined too. Mom explained to him what happened and so they both looked and watched me for the moment.

After opening the box, I saw a big soft star inside with a letter. I smiled and felt so warm as I took the star and the letter out.

"Looking good? heh, grow splendid my little sophie. Learn how to cook. Dont be fool with a guy that never see your true self and still be nice to strangers. - Your future"

The end.
