[17] "Welcome To Paradise."

{8:45 am} AFTER 'IHOP', I DRIVE A few minutes to shopping center I had seen on our way to 'IHOP' and we spend a couple hours there, shopping.

At 10:25, my alarm goes off. "Why is your alarm going off?" Dez asks as she glances at me with a curious look.

"Well, our check-in is in, like, thirty-five minutes. So we can start heading that way."

She nods. Entwining my fingers through hers, we go out to my baby and put the shopping bags in the trunk before climbing in. "Oh, before I forget!" I reply suddenly. "Um, I want this to be a surprise for you, so I'm going to grab a blindfold and put it on you."

She groans softly. "Mm, why?"

"So, that I can surprise you with this surprise," I answer in a 'duh' tone.

She gives me suspicious eyes.

'Gosh, calm your tits woman! It's not like I'm cheating on you and I'm about to reveal to you the girl I've been cheating on you with!' I thought as I mentally chuckle.

"Fine, whatever," she answers after a moment.

Grinning at her, I grab the blindfold from my glove compartment and put it on her. "Now, when we get there, I'm going to go inside and check in and come back to our luggage and you," I respond as I tie the blindfold on.

She nods.

I lightly kiss her cheek and then situate myself back in the driver's seat.

I pull in the 'Hard Rock Hotel & Casino' parking lot at 10:51. "Why are we stopping?" Dez asks beside me as I shift my gear stick into park.

"We've reached our destination. Alright, I'm going to go inside and check in. I'm going to leave my keys in the the driver's seat; please don't do anything stupid or try to drive off with my baby."

After I called my car my baby, she gasps. "You do realize that you have two actual babies at home?" she asks as she cocks an eyebrow from behind her blindfold.

I chuckle. "Yeah, yeah. Alright, I'm going to check-in."

She nods.

Surprising her with a brief kiss, she sighs in a content tone against my lips. After several seconds, I pull away and open the door to climb out. "Lock it and don't open the doors for anyone. I'll text you when I'm back at the car," I acknowledge before I shut my door.

{11:10 am} "Thank you for choosing Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for your stay," the somewhat cute looking receptionist behind the counter replies as she gives me a flirty smile. "Thank you for choosing Paradise Tower Pool Villa Deluxe Corner King Suite. You and your guest will be staying in room 1616; sixteenth floor in our paradise tower. We do have parking for our paradise tower guests." She takes a map and pen out and draws an arrow to show me where it is. "There's directions to the parking garage. Enjoy your stay."

I fork over a small, polite smile as I take the tiny envelope with the room keys in it and the map. Spinning around at a 180 degree angle, I start walking away as I take my phone out and dial Dezerae's number. After a couple rings, she answers. "Hello?"

"Hey babe, I'm coming out now. I need to pull the car to another parking spot, so we're going to shoot over there real quick."

"Okay," she answers.

I end our call and slip my phone back in the pocket of my athletic shorts.

Arriving back at the car, I open the driver's door and climb in. "I wish you'd just tell me," Dezerae mumbles, crossing her arms across her chest and turning head to face the window as she pouts.
