{6:03 pm} DROPPING THE BOYS DOWN ON our bed, they instantly stand up and start jumping and screeching. "Ahh!" KJ screeches as Devin jumps up and then takes his brother out by play slamming him to the mattress. "Mama, jump on the bed with us," Devin replies as him and KJ start bouncing on the bed and screeching loudly.

I shield my ears as I mentally cry. ''Why are they so energetic?!''

That's when Kaiden pokes my arm. Glancing at him, I cock an eyebrow. "Devin and KJ are very hyper and energetic, we should take them to the park," he suggests, "to let them get some energy out so it's easier to put them to bed in a little bit."

I nod.

Downstairs, Lily comes up to me and tugs on my pant leg, asking, "Aunt Dez, where are you going?"

"Uncle Kaiden and I are taking your cousins to the park for a little bit, do you and your brother want to come?"

Lily forks over a huge grin. "I'd love to come," she chirps. "And who's my brother?" She cocks an eyebrow.

"Lily, honey," Trent replies from over on the couch, "Matthew is your brother. That's who Aunt Dez is referring to."

Lily turns to her dad and nods. "Boys smell yucky," she mumbles, giving him a grossed out face. "Matthew can stay home." Trent chuckles softly and after a moment, Lily smiles at him and gives him her best guilty puppy dog face. "Can I go with them, Daddy?"

Trent beams are her. "Of course you can go, sweetie," he answers. "Just stay with Aunt Dez and Uncle Kaiden and don't wonder off."

"I promise I won't." She kisses my brother's cheek and then takes my hand and we walk outside.

{6:13 pm} Arriving at the park, Lily runs off to the swings and I unstrap the boys from their stroller. They climb out and go over to play in the sandbox. Stopping at the swings, I plop down in an empty one and start lightly swinging back and forth. After a moment, I feel someone start to lightly massage my shoulders. I stiffen up for a moment, but instantly relax when I realize it's just Kaiden. "You're a good momma," he replies. "I love you so much." Then, I feel him kiss the back of my head.

Grabbing his hands and tugging him around to stand in front of me, I stand up and envelope my arms around his neck. I fork over a wide grin before I lean in slightly and peck him on the cheek. "You're a good daddy," I reply. "I love you so much too."

He beams at me.

That's when someone shouts my name. I follow the voice source and realize it's my niece. "Aunt Dez, come down the slide with me!" she shouts, giving me a wide, toothy grin.

I nod.

Climbing up the ladder, I go over to where Lily is and sit down first. Lily climbs over my leg and plops down in between my legs. Pushing my foot against the side of the slide lightly, we swirl down the slide and Lily screams happily the entire time before we reach the end. Lily jumps off the slide and spins around to face me, forking over a brief smile. "That was fun!" she acknowledges. I watch silently as she glances over at the monkey bars and another big grin spreads across her face. She turns to me. "Ooooh, Aunt Dez, come watch me do the monkey bars! Bailey told me I'm really good at them."

Standing up, I brush the invisible dust off the back of my pants and smile at her. Lily grasps my hand and tugs me over towards the monkey bars with her.
