♜♖♜ KAIDEN PARKER ♖♜♖
AIDEN FOLLOWS US INSIDE AND he plops down in the big beanbag as I put my sexy fiancé down. Glancing in the living room, we discover Jake, Trent, and Destiny are watching 'Friends' on Netflix on the flatscreen above the fireplace and the kids are in the playroom. (The way the lay out is, I can see into the playroom and there's also French doors so it gives me a better view into the play room.) I notice Devin is scribbling in his coloring book while KJ and Matthew are playing with the toy cars on the play road mat. "Hey, y'all," Dezerae chirps, smiling at her brother's and future sister-in-law.
Trent pauses 'Friends' and they all turn attention to us. "What's up, y'all?" Destiny asks. Absentmindedly, I observe as she glances at the finger with the ring on it and then directs her smirk towards Dezerae.
Dez catches on quickly to what Destiny is smirking about and shoots her a smirk back. Briskly, she kisses my cheek and then grasps Destiny's hand to tug her upstairs with her. (And for Destiny being six months pregnant, she can move quickly without breaking a sweat.) Nonchalantly, I watch as my fiancé's ass jiggles as they scurry upstairs. 'Mm, I'm definitely going to try to take her from behind tonight!' I thought as I mentally smirk. Turning my undivided attention to Jake and Trent, I give them a big grin. "She said yes again!" I reply, a huge smile plastering across my face.
"Did you honestly think she was going to say no?" they question, cocking an eyebrow and giving me a curious look.
Sighing soundlessly, I nervously rub the back of my neck. "Well, um, I've been absent these past two years. I thought she might have," I admit after a moment's hesitation.
"Dude, you are 'all' she's talked about these past two years," they admit, grinning up at me. I give them a small smile.
"It was only like two months with her and it annoyed me how much she talked about you," Aiden adds, chuckling under his breath. "Besides, even if my sister did choose to leave you," Trent continues, "she technically can't since y'all are, like, bound together for the next eighteen years between Devin and KJ."
"Damn, I am so in love with her," I admit softly. "I don't know what I would do if she ever chose/decided to leave me."
"Honestly, man, I don't think you have to worry about that," Jake acknowledges. "She missed you so effing much those two years you were at East Mesa. I don't think she'd want to leave you now that you're back. You really have nothing to worry about."
Releasing a faint sigh as I rake my fingers through my hair, I fork over a humongous grin. "Ah, 'fuck'! I love her so much!"
Jake and Trent shoot me gigantic smiles and give me a thumbs up. "Thanks for treating her right," Trent comments. "I know you've had rough patches, but thank you for treating her right and accepting her for her."
I shoot him a gigantic smile before I cut across the living room and into the playroom. Crouching down, I pick KJ and Devin up. "I love y'all so much," I announce to my sons'. Turning my undivided attention to Devin, I beam. "Thanks for making me a Daddy, bud." Then, I turn my undivided attention to KJ. "Thank you for giving Mama something to remember me by those two years I was gone. Mm, Daddy is so happy to have you named after him. I love my mini Kaiden."
Devin shoots me a quick smile and then reaches down for his coloring book as he whines. Briskly, I kiss his temple and then set him down. I turn my undivided attention back to KJ and realize he's staring at me hard. "Hi, bud," I reply. "What's wrong? Why are you giving Daddy a stare down like that?"
"Well, the very first time KJ saw me he thought I was his daddy so he's pretty much been glued to my side since, like, October," Aiden answers from behind me. "So he's probably really confused why he's seeing double."
