It's been a few days since we first met in the cafe. We've been meeting on a daily basis, even exchanged numbers for the fun of it.

Kiryu has another tour coming up, so I'm afraid I won't be seeing Mahiro much for the next month.

It was a shock, but I was performing on stage that one night. All I had was a small role, but this small role had difficult parts. When I was singing the climax of a certain part, I reached out to the audience. That's when I noticed someone familiar. Very familiar.

I proceeded with my act, and as the curtains closed for the interval, I could see the raven haired vocalist give me a small encouraging smile and a round of applause.

The lights dimmed and I hurried off stage. No way. He actually found the musical I was performing in when I had never told him.

*time skip to after the musical*

I returned to the cafe for another cup of tea. My throat had hurt that night. Thank goodness it was already the last show.

I was unsurprised to see Mahiro enter the cafe.

"Amazing performance. "

It was music to my ears. To have your idol praise you like that, you have no idea how happy I was.

"Thanks. "

He settled down opposite me with his usual coffee.

"I thought you'd be busy, I was surprised to see you in the audience tonight. "

"Today's a day off before I start travelling the day after. Tomorrow's when we have to check up on the gear and equipment. "

Perhaps he could sense my longing for this moment not to end. It would be another 3 months after all.

"We can still contact each other over the phone. Don't worry about it, the month will pass by pretty soon. "

I nodded. Mahiro had become a close friend in a surprisingly short period of time. None of my other friends knew, and I doubt Mahiro's bandmates knew either.

I looked out the window, admiring the night sky.
"The moon is looking pretty tonight. "

"Yes, it is. The stars are especially bright tonight as well. " He adds.

We both stared out at the darkness for a while before both wheeling back to the drinks before us.

"I suppose I can request to be on the traveling team of a circus I've been with before... And I'd see you every two weeks. "
It was a sudden idea, and the words fell out of my mouth impulsively.

Mahiro paused for a moment.
"If you want to, I guess. "

But his tone didn't match the energy of his words. The words of indifference were spoken with hopefulness, almost as if a small kid longing to buy a toy.

"I suppose I'll see you in two weeks then. "

Mahiro's eyes lit up. I smirked.

A light blush dusted his face. Adorable.

To try and cover it up, he offered to escort me back home. I didn't mind.

As we walked along the streets, I felt his hand shyly hold onto mine. I felt more comforted by his touch. He was quite gentle. My hand closer around his as well, and he seemed genuinely shocked.

He hid it though, a smile embracing his features as we walked hand in hand under the moonlight.
